//->> NEWS FROM THE WRESTLING-ONLINE NEWSWIRE
Web version at

COLLISION AND BATTLE OF THE BELTS TONIGHT
- It's a three-hour block of AEW action tonight on TNT as Collision returns after a one-week absence and immediately following that comes what might be the last Battle of the Belts. Seven matches have been announced for Collision, including Ricochet vs AR Fox, Blackpool Combat Club vs Top Flight and Action Andretti for the AEW Trios titles, Kyle Fletcher vs Atlantis Jr, The Outrunners vs LFI, Hayley Cameron vs Kris Statlander, Premiere Athletes vs Daniel Garcia and Private Party in a trios match, Orange Cassidy vs Bulk Bronson, and two other matches featuring House of Black and Jamie Hayter. Battle of the Belts XII will follow with Mariah May vs Anna Jay for the AEW Women's title and Kazuchika Okada vs Kyle O'Reilly for the AEW Continental title.

DYNAMITE RATING
- The post-WrestleDream Dynamite drew 633,000 viewers, up 316,000 viewers from last week's show which aired on a Tuesday. Excluding last week, the overall viewership was the lowest since August 7. In the 18-49 demo, Dynamite had a 0.20 rating, up 0.10 from last week and was #6 on the top 50 cable chart for the night. Dynamite had the same competition as NXT did yesterday in terms of sports. (Ratings: Programming Insider)

MOTOR CITY MACHINE GUNS DEBUT ON SMACKDOWN
- The Motor City Machine Guns made their WWE debut last night on Smackdown. Chris Sabin and Alex Shelley were shown earlier in the day in a video on social media being welcomed by Smackdown General Manager Nick Aldis, who then informed them that their debut match will be in a triple threat against Los Garza and A-Town Down Under. Sabin and Shelley, one of the most decorated tag teams in pro wrestling, won that match and will face DIY next week, who themselves defeated The Street Profits and Pretty Deadly, to determine who will face The Bloodline for the tag team titles next.

HAYES/ANDRADE BEST OF SEVEN SERIES TO END NEXT WEEK
- The final match of the best of seven series between Carmelo Hayes and Andrade will take place on next week's Smackdown. The two have been facing each other for a few months, with the series tied at three wins each. Their first match was back on July 19. To spice it up, their last match will have a special guest referee, none other than United States champion LA Knight, who promised to be impartial and call it down the middle. With both having history with Knight, it's almost safe to say that whoever wins this will get the next crack at the United States title.

COLE MISSES SMACKDOWN, BARRETT REPLACES HIM
- Raw's Wade Barrett had to temporarily move to the blue brand yesterday and re-join his former broadcast colleague Corey Graves due to Michael Cole missing the show. It's unclear why Cole missed the show but Graves said that he was on a "special assignment" whatever that might mean. The voice of WWE had a fantastic streak going of never missing a show from 1997 until 20 years later, where he had to miss a broadcast due to his son getting married in 2017. Apart from that, the only other show Cole has missed was last October for the Raw season premiere and was replaced by Kevin Patrick.

WWE TO WORK WITH NETFLIX ON BEHIND-THE-SCENES SERIES
- WWE President Nick Khan announced at the Next Level Sports Conference held at USC in California that WWE and Netflix will be teaming up to produce a behind-the-scenes docuseries which will be filmed similar to the popular Formula 1: Drive to Survive show, also on Netflix. The announcement was picked up by Bloomberg in a news story published on their website. WWE's partnership with Netflix will provide unlimited content possibilities between the two companies in addition to the weekly television series Raw, Smackdown, and NXT, which will air in most worldwide locations from January 2025. In the United States, only Raw will air on Netflix.

WWE BOOKS 2300 ARENA FOR POSSIBLE NXT SHOW
- Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer is reporting that WWE has booked the 2300 Arena, formerly known as ECW Arena, in Philadelphia for a show which is believed to be the November 6 episode of NXT. NXT will air on Wednesday that week, head-to-head with Dynamite, due to the U.S. presidential election which takes place the day before on the usual NXT night. While the booking of the arena is confirmed, Meltzer adds that the November 6 date has not, but moving NXT to the ECW Arena for the first time ever would probably generate enough curiosity for fans to tune in and try to beat Dynamite on their own night.

PIERS MORGAN UNCENSORED TACKLES VINCE MCMAHON AND WWE IN LATEST EPISODE
- The latest episode of Piers Morgan Uncensored tackled Vince McMahon and WWE, jumping on the popularity of the Mr. McMahon Netflix series and the news of the Janel Grant lawsuit. Joining Morgan for this episode are former WWE Superstar Maven, former announcer Jonathan Coachman, former creative writer Vince Russo, and former backstage interviewer Charly Arnolt. They were also joined by chief McMahon critic Phil Mushnick, who Piers brought in as a surprise and who got into a massive argument with Russo. The 46-minute show also discusses Donald Trump's association with WWE, drugs and steroids, who the real Vince McMahon is, and more. You can see it at .

DONALD TRUMP TAPES PODCAST WITH THE UNDERTAKER
- The Undertaker, along with Kane and former President Donald Trump, appeared in a quick video dissing Dave Bautista and the Democratic nominees for the U.S. presidential election. The three, who were involved in the taping of The Undertaker's podcast Six Feet Under, were responding the video that Bautista did for Jimmy Kimmel Live earlier this week, where the former WWE champion ripped Trump by calling him a "weak tubby toddler" who wears more make-up than Dolly Parton and who's barely strong enough to hold an umbrella. "November 5th, election mania, the choice is yours," Taker said. "You can go with President Trump, Kane, and The Undertaker, or you can take Kamala Harris, Dave Bautista, and Tim Walz." Taker then urges his viewers to "choose wisely" because the nation depends on it. "And that should be an easy choice," chimed in Trump, sitting in between the two. The images used to show Harris, Bautista, and Walz were not very flattering, especially Bautista's who was shown in the p
hoto wearing the odd pearl necklace at a recent movie opening. You can see the video at .

TNA TITLE MATCH AT BOUND FOR GLORY GETS SPECIAL REF
- The TNA World title match between Nic Nemeth and Joe Hendry set for next week's Bound For Glory pay-per-view will have a special guest referee: Frankie Kazarian. The news was announced during this week's episode of Impact. Kazarian lost to Hendry in the number one contenders match for the TNA World title last month on Impact. Bound For Glory will take place on Saturday, October 26 live from the Wayne State Fieldhouse in Detroit, Michigan.

FRIGHT NIGHT DYNAMITE ANNOUNCED
- The Wednesday, October 30 edition of Dynamite will be labeled Fright Night to coincide with the popular Halloween. AEW applied to trademark the name earlier this week with the United States Patent and Trademark Office. The spooky episode also received its own logo and has one match announced so far: newcomer Shelton Benjamin vs Swerve Strickland. It will take place from the Wolstein Center in Cleveland, Ohio.

THUNDER ROSA RETURNS TO THE RING
- Thunder Rosa returned to the ring six weeks after suffering a concussion. The former AEW Women's champion wrestled Nina Samuels at the Riot Cabaret Road live event two days ago, her first match since the August 31 episode of Collision. Rosa's last AEW match was in a four-way against Hikaru Shida, Queen Aminata, and Serena Deeb and that's where she suffered the concussion. On a recent episode of Busted Open Radio last month, Rosa made a plea to fellow wrestlers that if they feel like they have a concussion, they need to stop because it's not worth it continuing while ignoring symptoms.

INTERIM UFC HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMP APPEARS AT WWE SHOW
- Interim UFC Heavyweight champion Tom Aspinall showed up at the non-televised WWE live event in Manchester, England yesterday and even got in the squared circle. It was WWE champion Cody Rhodes who introduced Aspinall to the ring, who was then interrupted by World Heavyweight champion Gunther. Gunther congratulated Aspinall for being the champion and shook his hand and then told Cody Rhodes that at Crown Jewel, may the best man win. All three top TKO heavyweight champions then posed together for photos in the ring. Interviewed after the show by British tabloid newspaper The Sun, Aspinall said that after he retires from MMA, he will be switching over to WWE.

CROWN JEWEL NEARLY SOLD OUT
- Tickets for the Crown Jewel and Raw tapings at the Mohammed Abdo Arena next month have been selling relatively well, especially Crown Jewel which is close to sold out. Crown Jewel tickets start from 50 SAR, the equivalent of $14 and go all the way up to 1,000 SAR, or $265 for ringside. All the VIP, Platinum, and VVIP tickets have sold out already and not much are available, with the bulk of tickets available being the cheapest at 50 SAR. Meanwhile, Raw the following day, which is being taped on Sunday, has slightly cheaper tickets starting from 45 SAR, equivalent to $12 and all the way up to 800 SAR, or $214. Some platinum and VIP tickets remain but the majority are the 45 SAR and 70 SAR, or $19, tickets. The Mohammed Abdo Arena in Riyadh can fit up to 22,000 people in a full setup, but obviously a few thousand less for wrestling. Tickets are available at webook.com.

NXT RATING
- NXT this week on CW drew 639,000 viewers, down 235,000 viewers from the prior week and the lowest since moving to network television. The show faced competition from MLB and NHL and had a 0.18 rating in 18-49, down 0.06 from last week's number. (Ratings credit: Programming Insider)

RHINO AND BOB RYDER TO BE INDUCTED IN TNA HALL OF FAME
- Rhino and Bob Ryder have been selected for the 2024 TNA Hall of Fame Ceremony which will take place next week during the pre-show for Bound For Glory. Rhino still works for TNA Wrestling and is a former TNA Tag Team champion and NWA World Heavyweight champion when that belt was the company's main title. The Detroit native has been with the company since 2019. Bob Ryder, who co-founded TNA Wrestling with Jerry and Jeff Jarrett, worked for the company since its inception until his death in 2020. He was a very well-liked individual backstage in the industry and prior to his TNA venture, he worked for WCW. Eric Young will be accepting Ryder's induction while Rhino will be there in person.

Tony D'Angelo will make his first NXT North American title defense against former champion Oba Femi and just like the NXT title, the Halloween Havoc Wheel also determined the stipulation for this match: Tables, ladders, and scares. "Years in the making - we finally broke bread, we drank, we laughed, got a lil¡¯ drunk (maybe that was just me, we talked life stuff, love stuff, dude stuff and took our time chopping up our passion for movies and storytelling," Johnson wrote, adding a photo from the meeting. "Then we all raised a glass and toasted to¡yup, this one is gonna be fun. JJ & DJ. From the mind of Zak Penn. '¡tonight, it comes to life,'" he continued. Abrams was the mind behind classic TV shows such as Alias, Lost, Person of Interest, and worked on movies such as the Mission Impossible series, Star Wars, Star Trek, and others. JOHN LAURINAITIS AND KATHY COLACE NO LONGER MARRIED
- Kathy Colace, the mother of WWE Hall of Famers Nikki and Brie Garcia, has confirmed that she has divorced from former WWE executive John Laurinaitis. The two got married in 2016 and their relationship was also occasionally part of the Total Bellas E! reality series. It was her daughter Brie who actually revealed the news during her mother's appearance on The Nikki & Brie Show podcast. Colace gave some advice to those who are going through the same ordeal, saying that as someone who's going through the process, you need time and silence and you need to let your body feel every emotion, including anger, heartbreak, and sadness. "One day life is fine and the next day you¡¯re hit with something that just rocks your world," she said. NXT going back to WWE PC from tonight is a bummer as it looked great and different the past two weeks. The PC is too small. Full Sail was a decent place to hold it.

FORMER ROH COO JOE KOFF PASSES AWAY
- Joe Koff, the former Ring of Honor Chief Operating Officer during the Sinclair Broadcast Group era, has passed away at age 73 from cancer. His death was announced by Major League Wrestling on social media, noting that Koff always led with honor, integrity, and a passion for the sport we all cherish. "His legacy will live on in the hearts of everyone he inspired. Thank you, Joe, for your contributions and unwavering dedication to wrestling," the MLW post continued. Koff served as the Chief Operating Officer for ROH from September 2011 to May 2022 while he was the Senior Vice President of Training and Development at Sinclair Broadcast Group. He spent pretty much his whole adult life working in the television industry. After ROH was sold to Tony Khan, Koff described his time with the promotion as "the journey of a lifetime" and thanked the fans, staff, and the brilliant athletes who made ROH special. After news of his death was announced, AEW wrote, "The AEW & Ring of Honor Family, along with the wrestling world mourn the passing of Joe Koff. Our thoughts are with his family and his friends." WWE champion Cody Rhodes, who worked with Koff when he was in ROH, added, "Really great man that I learned a lot from and was always happy/lucky to be in his presence. All love to his family."

JANEL GRANT'S LEGAL TEAM FILES NEW MOTION
- The legal team of Janel Grant is keeping up their fight against Vince McMahon, submitting a new legal filing in Connecticut state court against Dr. Carlon Colker, a physician paid by McMahon, and Peak Wellness, Inc., the medical clinic owned by Dr. Colker. The filing alleges that McMahon sent Ms. Grant to the medical clinic and sexually abused her with one of the clinic¡¯s employees. The filing also alleges that Dr. Colker repeatedly medicated Ms. Grant with unknown substances, including intravenously. It seeks to compel Dr. Colker and Peak Wellness to turn over Ms. Grant¡¯s full electronic medical and billing records as well as messages between Dr. Colker and Vince McMahon regarding Ms. Grant. When Ms. Grant was suffering from symptoms of severe stress and trauma due to her abuse, Vince McMahon coerced her to schedule appointments at Peak Wellness. McMahon, who was in direct contact with Dr. Colker, obtained access to Ms. Grant¡¯s private medical records and dictated her treatments. A physical therapist at Peak Wellness joined McMahon in the repeated sexual abuse of Ms. Grant, including one instance in which McMahon defecated on Ms. Grant¡¯s head and forced her to continue engaging in a sexual act with the Peak Wellness employee. ¡°Imagine being at your most vulnerable, and the doctor you are told to see only makes you feel worse,¡± said Ann Callis, attorney for Janel Grant. ¡°Our filing today makes clear that Dr. Colker violated ethical and medical standards when he injected unknown substances into Janel¡¯s body and directed her to take unlabeled pills while dismissing her basic questions about those drugs. Peak Wellness owes Janel Grant answers and the clinic¡¯s secrecy and evasion must come to an end.¡± On July 1, 2024, Ms. Grant¡¯s attorneys filed a bill of discovery request against Dr. Colker and Peak Wellness to gain access to her full electronic medical and billing records as well all messages between Dr. Colker and McMahon regarding Ms. Grant after they repeatedly refused to comply with Ms. Grant¡¯s requests. In response to this proceeding, both McMahon and Dr. Colker made separate attempts to block Ms. Grant¡¯s filing. McMahon¡¯s attempt to block Ms. Grant¡¯s bill of discovery proceeding was denied by the United States District Court for the District of Connecticut on August 6, 2024. All patients have the right to receive their full medical records under federal and state law, including HIPAA, the Cures Act, and Connecticut General Statutes ¡ì 20-7c. Ms. Grant has requested her full electronic medical records from Peak Wellness on several different occasions, and each time the clinic has failed to comply with her requests. Specifically, in the new legal filing, Ms. Grant has requested eight different categories of records from Peak Wellness, including: Ms. Grant¡¯s electronic medical records, including all associated metadata; Dr. Colker and Peak Wellness¡¯ recordkeeping and billing procedures; Payment records relating to Ms. Grant; Dr. Colker and Peak Wellness¡¯ payment arrangements with McMahon and/or WWE; The purpose of Ms. Grant¡¯s prescribed treatments; The substance of Ms. Grant¡¯s prescribed treatments; Any communications between Dr. Colker and McMahon relating to Ms. Grant; and Dr. Colker¡¯s involvement in recommending Ms. Grant¡¯s attorney for negotiation of the purported non-disclosure agreement.

NXT PREVIEW
- The road to Halloween Havoc starts tonight on NXT on The CW as it returns back to the WWE Performance Center after two weeks on the road. Five matches have been announced for the broadcast so far and the show will be headlined by a #1 contenders match for the NXT title featuring Ethan Page vs Wes Lee vs Je'Von Evans in a triple threat match. Also, Stephanie Vaquer will make her NXT in-ring debut as she takes on Wren Sinclair, Oro Mensah battles Lexis King, Nikkita Lyons wrestles in her first match after eight months against Lola Vice, and former Chase U team mates collide when Riley Osborne wrestles Ridge Holland. Plus, Tony D'Angelo will celebrate his NXT North American title win and the Halloween Havoc Wheel returns!

SMACKDOWN RATING
- Friday Night Smackdown on USA Network drew 1,652,000 viewers this past week, up 134,000 viewers from the previous episode. This was the highest since the premiere episode on September 13. Smackdown had a 0.49 rating in 18-49, up 0.02 and was #1 on the cable chart for the night. (Ratings credit: Programming Insider)

THE WAR RAIDERS RETURN ON RAW
- Erik and Ivar returned to Raw last night without their Viking Raiders gimmick, reverting to their War Raiders personas. Both men have been out injured for months and returned to defeat Akira Tozawa and Otis in their first match back. Erik had been out since November 2023 and underwent neck fusion surgery while Ivar was injured in June of this year and had been out of action ever since. The duo used their War Raiders name for a year in NXT before being called up to the main roster in 2019 and renamed as The Viking Experience and later The Viking Raiders. Prior to their WWE arrival, they had the name of War Machine.

SHINSUKE NAKAMURA TO WRESTLE FOR NOAH ON JANUARY 1
- WWE Superstar Shinsuke Nakamura has been announced for the January 1, 2025 Pro Wrestling NOAH show in Japan. The Japanese promotion posted a video of Nakamura announcing his involvement, wondering who will be standing in front of him in the ring at the Nippon Budokan in Tokyo. The former NXT champion returned to the WWE ring after almost two months out at the non-televised live event in Cardiff this weekend, losing to LA Knight in a match for the United States title. Nakamura worked the Japan and European tours a few months ago but has not been on television since the April 22 episode of Monday Night Raw, losing to Sheamus.

TONI STORM TOPS PWI WOMEN 250 CHART
- Former AEW Women's champion Toni Storm topped the PWI's Women 250 chart, climbing from last year's #12 place to take the top ranking. Storm enjoyed an amazing year with AEW as their Women's champion, holding on to the title for a whopping 281 days, winning it in November 2023 from Hikaru Shida and losing it at All In this past August against Mariah May. Storm was one of four AEW women who placed in the top 10, with the others being Willow Nightingale, Mariah May, and Athena in #8, #9, and #10 respectively. Coming in #2 was TNA's Jordynne Grace, who also had a great year, with an appearance at the Royal Rumble, multiple NXT matches, and also holding down the fort at TNA. Rhea Ripley came in #3 and surprisingly enough, only she and Bayley, who came in at #7, represented WWE this year in the top 10. Rounding up the top 10 list were Maika in #4, Stephanie Vaquer in #5, and Sareee in #6.

RAMPAGE RATING
- Rampage on TNT drew 253,000 viewers this past week, up 37,000 viewers compared to the prior episode. The show had a 0.09 rating in 18-49, up 0.02 from the last one. (Ratings credit: Programming Insider)

DANIELSON REMAINS WITHOUT A CONTRACT
- Bryan Danielson remains without a contract with All Elite Wrestling and is currently a free agent. Danielson, who lost the AEW World title at WrestleDream this past weekend, has also ended his full-time in-ring career, a stipulation that he imposed on himself after he won his first and only title in the promotion in late August. The man known as the American Dragon requires neck surgery, surgery which may or may not happen depending his reluctance to stay retired for the long run. Danielson admitted in the past that he may have a match here and there and has not officially hung up his boots. He is keeping his promise of not signing a new performer deal though which is why he has been wrestling without a contract for the two months. Danielson is expected to remain part of AEW moving forward, but in what capacity remains to be seen.

THE YOUNG BUCKS ANNOUNCED FOR WRESTLE DYNASTY
- In a video which aired during the NJPW King of Pro Wrestling show, current AEW Tag Team champions The Young Bucks revealed they're returning to the Land of the Rising Sun for the Wrestle Dynasty event. "New Japan Pro-Wrestling. Wrestle Dynasty," Nicholas says. "The Young Bucks are coming back, baby," continued Matthew. The two have not wrestled in Japan since Wrestle Kingdom 13 in January 2019 and have been fully focused with their EVP and on-camera work with AEW ever since. Wrestle Dynasty, announced earlier this year, will take place on Sunday, January 5, the day after Wrestle Kingdom at the Tokyo Dome. It will feature the participation of CMLL, ROH, as well as NJPW and AEW stars. The show is the NJPW version of Forbidden Door.

TNA+ ADDS NXT IN TNA SECTION
- The TNA+ streaming service has added an NXT in TNA section, showcasing all the matches which involved NXT stars in TNA. The relationship between TNA and NXT kicked off earlier this year and continues strong, with NXT stars appearing at Impact television tapings while TNA stars also show up on NXT TV occasionally. A total of 16 matches are currently part of this NXT in TNA section featuring stars such as Tatum Paxley, Izzi Dame, Charlie Dempsey, Wes Lee, Wolfgang, Dante Chen, Riley Osburne, Sol Ruca, Wendy Choo, and others. All matches are locked so a subscription is required to watch them. TNA+ is $9.99 a month and can be canceled anytime.

//->> OPENING WORDS FROM THE EDITOR

What did you think of WrestleDream? There were some head-scratching moments for me. Did I miss the part where Adam Cole turned face? Wasn't he the devil? What happened? Tony Khan trying to get the crowd to do the Inoki chant was super cringe. Like, I was feeling really, really uncomfortable watching it and I wasn't even there. Awful. Ricochet and Ospreay doing their usual routine moves, again. Why? They're two great wrestlers, but some of that flippy floppy stuff is painful to watch. And they took the belt off Swerve just so Danielson can have a one-month run and finish off like that? Seriously? Come on now...

WRESTLEDREAM 2024 PPV RESULTS
- Here are the results from the WrestleDream 2024 pay-per-view which took place from the Tacoma Dome in Tacoma, Washington. ZERO HOUR: Brian Cage defeated Atlantis Jr. to become the new ROH TV champion; Anna Jay defeated Harley Cameron; The Acclaimed defeated MxM Collection; Orange Cassidy, Kyle O'Reilly, and The Outrunners defeated Alex Reynolds, John Silver, Ariya Daivari, and Tony Nese in an eight-man tag match. PPV: Jay White defeated "Hangman" Adam Page; Mariah May defeated Willow Nightingale to retain the AEW Women's title; Jack Perry defeated Katsuyori Shibata to retain the TNT title; Konosuke Takeshita defeated Will Ospreay and Ricochet in a three-way match to become the new AEW International champion; Hologram defeated The Beast Mortos in a two-out-of-three falls match; Darby Allin defeated Brody King; The Young Bucks defeated Private Party to retain the AEW World title; Mark Briscoe defeated Chris Jericho to retain the ROH World title; Jon Moxley defeated Bryan Danielson to
become the new AEW World champion.

DANIELSON LOSES TITLE AND ENDS FULL-TIME IN-RING CAREER
- Bryan Danielson's full-time in-ring career came to an end last night after he lost the AEW World title to Jon Moxley. Danielson got locked in a rear naked choke and passed out, with the referee ending the match, even though Danielson moved after the match, suggesting that he was not completely out. The post-match actions turned even more violent with Claudio Castagnoli, Marina Shafir, and PAC ready to inflict more damage. But Wheeler Yuta and Darby Allin ran out to make the save...until Yuta turned on Allin. Allin was secured to the ropes with tape and forced to watch Danielson getting battered. Yuta choked out Danielson with a plastic bag and several AEW stars came out to help but they received an ass-whopping instead. The new champion then wrapped a chair around Danielson's neck and Castagnoli delivered a final blow by stomping it before they left. Some more AEW stars eventually came out after it was too late along with doctors. Doctors loaded up Danielson on a stretcher with the
crowd fading into silence as the show went to black. Danielson won the AEW World title at All In in London, England, this past August.

MJF AND ADAM COLE RETURN AT WRESTLEDREAM
- MJF and Adam Cole made their return at WrestleDream last night, reigniting the feud they had which was halted after Cole suffered a broken ankle. MJF returned first to attack Daniel Garcia, who came out after the TNT title match to confront champion Jack Perry. The former champion had been out since the All Out pay-per-view in September when Garcia delivered a second rope piledriver. Garcia, who was down after Perry whacked him, was going to get knocked out by the Dynamite Diamond Ring which MJF found again, but before MJF could strike, Adam Cole's theme music hit. Cole ran down the ring but MJF escaped through the crowd. He then helped Garcia up. Cole suffered the ankle injury in September of last year and continued to show up on television and was eventually revealed as the Devil and fronted the Undisputed Kingdom faction. Cole and MJF had been tag team partners until the Devil unmasking angle.

MXM COLLECTION UNVEIL THIRD MAN: RICO!
- In a big blast from the past, MxM Collection revealed their third man at the Zero Hour show last night, who ended up being Rico, the former manager of Billy and Chuck. Rico accompanied Mansoor and Mason Madden for their match against The Acclaimed and also got involved in the finishing moments of the match, getting a Famouser by Billy Gunn for his troubles. Unfortunately for MxM, not even Rico could help them win the match. The 63-year-old Nevada native achieved fame as the stylist and manager of Billy and Chuck and was revealed as the man behind the stunt for the wedding between the two.

JIMMY JACOBS RESIGNS FROM AEW
- AEW producer and creative writer Jimmy Jacobs has left the company according to Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Wrestling. Jacobs, who was touted as being one of Tony Khan's closest writers, resigned from his position. Jacobs was working with TNA Wrestling when AEW came knocking and he joined the backstage team in June 2023, lasting 16 months on the job. Prior to that, he worked for WWE in the same position but was fired from the company in 2017 after he posted a photo with The Bullet Club on social media when they were filming their own "invasion" of WWE Raw. The former ROH Tag Team champion also laced up his boots one for Ring of Honor earlier this year, losing to Satnam Singh in under a minute. He had previously wrestled one more time for ROH in September 2023. Jacobs continues to wrestle on the independent scene, with his latest match coming at the end of last month.

LATEST BETTING ODDS FOR WRESTLEDREAM
- AEW is back on pay-per-view tonight with WrestleDream. This is only the second-ever WrestleDream after the show was introduced last year as a tribute to Antonio Inoki. The following are the latest odds available. Remember, these odds might change by the time the show starts so be careful if you're betting with your real money. AEW World champion Bryan Danielson is the underdog going in tonight's main event against Jon Moxley and we all know what that means, if Danielson loses, his career is over too. Danielson is currently 6/5 to retain while Moxley is 2/3 favorite to win the title. Mariah May has huge numbers in her favor tonight with her odds set at 1/50 to keep her AEW Women's title while Willow Nightingale is 12/1 for the major upset. Will Ospreay defends his International title in a three-way match and is favorite to retain with 1/4 odds. His opponents, Konosuke Takeshita and Ricochet are 2/1 and 8/1 respectively. Jack Perry takes on Katsuyori Shibata with the TNT title on the
line and Perry is pretty much safe with 1/25 odds in his favor while the Japanese star is 8/1. Will we see new AEW Tag Team champions tonight? Bookmakers think not and The Young Bucks are super favorite to keep their gold with 1/20 odds while Private Party are 7/1. Chris Jericho goes for the ROH World title again but champion Mark Briscoe is 2/5 favorite to keep the title while Jericho is 17/10 to win it for the second time. Jay White, who just recently returned, will take on Adam Page and the former IWGP champion is 5/9 favorite to beat The Hangman who is 7/5. A two-out-of-three-falls match will see two masked stars - Hologram and The Beast Mortos - battle it out. Hologram is 1/10 to keep his undefeated streak going while his opponent is 11/2. Darby Allin faces Brody King in his open challenge and Allin is 1/15 favorite whereas King is 6/1. Brian Cage is favorite to become the new ROH TV champion has he takes on champion Atlantis Jr, with Cage at 5/11 and the champion 33/20 to ret
ain. And The Acclaimed will take on MxM Collection with the scissoring boys 2/9 favorite and MxM having 11/4 odds.

MOTOR CITY MACHINE GUNS TO DEBUT NEXT WEEK
- The Motor City Machine Guns are coming next week to Friday Night Smackdown. The in-ring veterans' latest vignette aired last night, this time with the addition of helicopters and more distinctive images of Detroit. A sprayed "MCMG" also quickly flashed on the screen before their debut was announced. In a later backstage segment, Smackdown General Manager Nick Aldis told DIY and The Street Profits that a new team was making its debut next week. This will be their WWE debut, although Alex Shelley did participate in NXT for a couple of weeks in 2020. Chris Sabin never worked for WWE before.

FOUR-DAY WWE UK TOUR KICKS OFF TOMORROW
- The latest WWE UK tour kicks off tomorrow with Superstars from both Raw and Smackdown having left the United States last night immediately following the conclusion of Smackdown. Cardiff will host the first show at the Utilita Arena and then the tour moves to Liverpool at the M&S Bank Arena for a live event on Monday. Tuesday it's Newcastle's time at the Utilita Arena and then the tour wraps up on Wednesday in Manchester at the Co-Op Live. Only the Cardiff show is close to sold out while the other shows have a long way to go, especially the Manchester debut at the Co-Op, which undersold big time. All shows had very expensive ticket prices and the UK audience were not ready to pay premium prices for a house show this time around. Raw is taped on Monday so the next time WWE is live is on Friday, October 18 with Smackdown from Columbia, South Carolina.

RAW GETS MORE COMPETITION FROM MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL
- WWE Raw is getting some additional competition this football season as the network ABC announced that they will broadcast six additional Monday Night Football games to boost ratings. The addition of simulcast games on ESPN and ABC spells bad news for Raw since usually simulcast games take a bigger chunk of the WWE audience. Raw will be helped by the fact that it is now two hours and not three, so the third hour will not be there to drag down the overall number. Raw will only be spared twice this season, with the November 11 and December 2 MNF games the only two dates which ESPN will air the games without the simulcast on ABC.

HORNSWOGGLE SIGNS WWE LEGENDS DEAL
- Former WWE Superstar Hornswoggle has revealed that he signed a WWE Legends deal, becoming the latest to sign such a contract following stars such as Diamond Dallas Page, Jesse "The Body" Ventura, Jacqueline, and others. Speaking to fans during an ACW Wisconsin show, the 38-year-old said he wanted to break the news to them first because they always supported him throughout his career. "I thought you guys should be the first to know, as of last week, I signed a WWE Legends contract. Thank you to each and every one of you for supporting me, for having my back, for believing in me," Hornswoggle told the crowd. "This is for each and every one of you. Thank you, guys." Hornswoggle worked for WWE for 10 years between 2006 and 2016 and last appeared on WWE television during the 2019 Royal Rumble, chasing Zelina Vega during the women's match.

//->> OPENING WORDS FROM THE EDITOR

Another pay-per-view weekend, this time with AEW. No matter how bad AEW TV is during the week, there's one thing very constant: quality of pay-per-views. Tomorrow should be no different.

========================================================

//->> NEWS FROM THE WRESTLING-ONLINE NEWSWIRE
Web version at

NXT TO AIR ON WEDNESDAY TO AVOID ELECTION NIGHT
- WWE will be moving the Tuesday, November 5 episode of NXT to the following day due to the U.S. presidential election which will be happening on that same day. Moving it to November 6 will create another head-to-head clash with AEW Dynamite, which unlike this week, it will be airing in its regular time slot while the NXT show will have to deal with a different night. For the second year in a row, NXT won the head-to-head battle with AEW when AEW moved to Tuesday but this will be the first time that NXT moves back to its old, original time slot since it transitioned to Tuesday nights in April 2021. The last time the two shows faced the aftermath of the U.S. elections was on November 4, 2020, with Dynamite drawing 717,000 viewers and a 0.30 rating in 18-49 while NXT did 610,000 viewers and a 0.14 rating in 18-49.

WRESTLEMANIA 41 SEATING CHART PUBLISHED
- The seating chart for WrestleMania 41 has been published by OnLocation, who are taking care of all the travel packages for the show. The stage and entrance will be located in the south side of the stadium, in front of sections 120-126 and while these will be partially open, only the top part of these sections will have seats due to the stage. The rest of the stadium is pretty much fully open, with 14 floor sections which suggest that there will be no corner pillars. The Allegiant Stadium has a roof but there are no center screens, with the only screens on the end zone corners. WWE typically hangs four large screens above the ring which also holds the lighting rig. WrestleMania tickets go on pre-sale on Wednesday, October 23 with the general on-sale on Friday, October 25. You can see the chart at .

25% OFF TICKETS FOR SMACKDOWN NEXT FRIDAY
- WWE is running a 25% discount off tickets for Friday Night Smackdown at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York using the code CHAMP on Ticketmaster.com. The show, set for next Friday, is currently at just over 7,500 distributed, which is half of what the company sold for the April 1 Raw earlier this year. Upper bowl tickets are $72.05 but if you prefer floor seats, that will cost you over $600, including the discount! The Barclays Center is currently configured to host 9,800 seats and it's unlikely WWE will come close to the April gate.

RHEA RIPLEY AGREES NEW LONG-TERM DEAL WITH WWE
- PWInsider.com is reporting that WWE and Rhea Ripley have a greed a new, long-term contract which is believed to be a five-year deal. The site also says that Ripley is getting a "considerable raise" compared to her current deal, certainly reflecting her star power and current standing among her peers. Ripley has been working with WWE since 2017 and has won every single women's title there is. The Aussie's popularity has skyrocketed ever since she joined The Judgment Day and although she's no longer part of the faction now, she remains one of the top women in the industry.

JESSE VENTURA TEASES MORE INVOLVEMENT WITH WWE
- WWE Hall of Famer Jesse Ventura has teased that there are more things to come for him in professional wrestling after signing a WWE Legends deal. Speaking on camera, he said that he feels very good about the deal, coming back to WWE as part of their Legends program. "You know, I¡¯m 73 years old now and my life has now gone full-circle," Ventura said. "I got my first fame and fortune in the wrestling industry. I went on to do many, many other things above and beyond wrestling, or outside of wrestling, after I left it." He continued, "And now maybe it¡¯s only right that I come back to wrestling in the twilight of my life and finish off with what I always was.¡± Ventura then added that after all these years, he never go his shot at Hulk Hogan. "I¡¯ll just say this, there¡¯s even more bigger and better stuff waiting to happen. Because I¡¯ll finish like this, let¡¯s remember one thing, I never did get my shot at Hogan, did I?"

BRITT BAKER FEELING BETTER AFTER STREP THROAT ILLNESS
- Former AEW Women's champion Britt Baker posted a video on social media, barely able to speak, but saying that she's feeling better than she sounds after getting sick with a strep throat. Baker was supposed to wrestle Willow Nightingale on the Tuesday episode of Dynamite but due to her illness, the match was changed to a four-way, which Nightingale still won. Stuck in Orlando with not much supplies due to the hurricane, she mentioned that she was given antibiotics and IV to help her recover and now feels better even though her voice is still gone. There were also rumors online that she was not really sick and Baker addressed those people. "Thank you to everybody who checked in, and to all the weirdos with your f*cking conspiracy theories, like, f*ck off. You're weird!" she said, while giving the finger to the camera.

WWE ENTRIES ON NETFLIX POPPING UP IN DIFFERENT REGIONS

JESSE VENTURA SIGNS WWE LEGENDS DEAL
- Jesse "The Body" Ventura has announced that he has officially signed a WWE Legends contract. Ventura made the announcement in a post on his Substack titled, "The Body has come home." Back in April, Ventura gave hints that he was back on speaking terms with WWE and a month later said that he was offered a WWE Legends contract and it was with his attorneys for review. Later in July, Ventura attended his first WWE live event in 15 years, showing up to Raw in St. Paul, Minnesota, a state he knows too well after he was a governor for five years between 1998 and 2003. "Welcome home, Jesse Ventura," wrote Triple H on X at the time. "Honored to have one of the all-time greats back to #WWERaw tonight." Ventura thanked Triple H and the "whole WWE family" in his reply, and told CM Punk that hell froze over...again.

DYNAMITE RATING
- Airing at 9PM on a Tuesday away from its usual time slot, Dynamite Title Tuesday drew record low ratings for the company, getting only 329,000 viewers, down 351,000 viewers from the previous week. SWERVE STRICKLAND SAYS "NEXT EVOLUTION" OF HIMSELF AT WRESTLEDREAM
- Appearing on the No-Contest Wrestling podcast, former AEW World champion Swerve Strickland said that come WrestleDream, we can expect the "next evolution" of himself. Strickland said that his return at WrestleDream won't just be a talking segment, but him conveying new news on himself, his business, and what and who he is now. "Like, maybe my hair is different. Maybe my look is different. Maybe you¡¯ll just...something is different. You¡¯ll feel something different in the air. And that¡¯s something I always love bringing to the table," Strickland said while teasing his appearance. The former champ said that not even AEW President Tony Khan knows what to expect but he knows that whatever is needed from him, he'll deliver. ¡°That¡¯s kind of the imprint I have on the show right now, and I love it. I love it. I worked really hard to gain that," Strickland continued. "And I was patient too. I took a long time, I was patient. I didn¡¯t rush into it." Swerve has not been seen on AEW television since his devastating loss to Hangman Page at the All Out pay-per-view last month in an unsanctioned cage match that pushed all the hardcore, extreme boundaries of professional wrestling.

AEW SIGNS TV DAEL WITH FOX SPORTS MEXICO

STEPHANIE VAQUER MAKES FIRST IN-PERSON APPEARANCE ON NXT
- Stephanie Vaquer made her first in-person appearance in NXT last night, aligning herself with Giulia in their battle against NXT Women's champion Roxanne Perez and Cora Jade. Giulia interrupted Perez and Jade during their in-ring segment, with Jade inviting her to the ring. Giulia, who stayed on the entrance ramp, looked back and Vaquer made her way out. The two sprinted to the ring and beat up Perez and Jade. With the NXT Women's title left in the ring, Giulia and Vaquer both picked it up from the mat and stared down the champion. Vaquer will make her in-ring debut next week when she wrestles Wren Sinclair. You can see her arrival at .

RANDY ORTON PRAISED AFTER MID-AIR RKO BOTCH BY JE'VON EVANS
- The main event match on NXT last night featured Randy Orton taking on Je'Von Evans and the match was trending for all the wrong reasons at first: a botched RKO. Evans went to hit his finishing move which is a corkscrew splash and Orton was supposed to counter it in mid air with an RKO. Unfortunately, the timing was not there and Evans was short and Orton RKO'd just air. Orton then stood up and hit a standing RKO on Evans to finish him off. After the three-count and some posing, Orton helped Evans up to his feet, who apologized for the botch. "I'm so sorry. I'm so sorry," Evans said looking straight at Orton. "It's alright. You're the f*cking man," Orton responded as he held Evans' hand up. The post-match received a lot of positive feedback from fans, who appreciated Orton and noted his maturity and his long way from when he called Kofi Kingston "stupid" multiple times for botching a spot back in 2009. You can see the match and ending at
ton-gets-praise-after-mid-air-rko-botch-by-jevon-evans/.

NEW NXT NORTH AMERICAN CHAMPION CROWNED ON NXT
- Oba Femi's record-breaking 273-day reign as NXT North American champion came to a halt last night on NXT as "The Don" Tony D'Angelo beat the Nigerian star in a fantastic match on the CW. Femi originally won the title on January 9 after he cashed in his Breakout Tournament contract, beating Dragon Lee. Since then, Femi had successfully retained the title in all his title defenses but last night, the Illinois native D'Angelo managed to win his first singles title in NXT, becoming the 19th different NXT star to win the title. D'Angelo won the match after he was set up for a powerbomb by Femi but managed to turn it into a sunset flip for the surprise three-count.

NXT RESCHEDULES WEEKEND LIVE EVENTS IN FLORIDA
- The non-televised NXT live events which were scheduled for this weekend have been postponed due to Hurricane Milton. The hurricane is making landfall soon in the state of Florida and just like TNA two weeks ago, the shows had to be rescheduled for a later date. The October 11 live event which was set to take place at the St. Petersburg Armory in St Petersburg has now been postponed to Friday, December 20. The next day's show on October 12 from the Engelwood Neighborhood Center in Orlando is now taking place on Saturday, November 2. All the talent who participated on last night's NXT on CW also remained in St. Louis and did not travel to their home base in Florida due to the hurricane. PWInsider.com says that some officials, including Matt Bloom, stayed behind to hang out with them. CM Punk was also at the tapings and traveled with the crew on their bus.

RAW RATING
- The first two-hour Raw since 2012 this week drew 1,545,000 viewers, up slightly by 29,000 viewers compared to the prior week. Comparing the first two hours only to last week, it would be down by 15,000 viewers despite coming off the Bad Blood premium live event. The first hour of Raw drew 1,571,000 viewers and the second hour followed with 1,520,000 viewers, with once again the highest-rated segment being the CM Punk one with over 1.7 million viewers. In 18-49, Raw had a 0.47 rating and was 0.01 down from last week. It was #3 on cable behind the NFL and MLB games which drew 15.8 and 3.4 million viewers respectively. (Ratings credit: Wrestlenomics)

WILLOW NIGHTINGALE GETS AEW WOMEN'S TITLE SHOT
- Willow Nightingale earned herself an AEW Women's title shot last night on Dynamite Title Tuesday after she won a four-way number one contenders match. Nightingale was supposed to take on Britt Baker in a regular one-on-one machine but it was announced that Baker was ill and was not able to make it to the show. Instead, a four-way match with Nightingale, Saraya, Nyla Rose and Jamie Hayter was booked, a match which the former TBS champion won after she pinned Saraya following a DVD through a table. While celebrating on the ramp, AEW Women's champion Mariah May showed up and repeatedly whipped her with the title.

DANIEL GARCIA STAYING IN AEW
- In his first appearance since All Out, Daniel Garcia announced on Dynamite last night that he has decided to stay in AEW because that is where the best wrestle. Garcia lost his match to MJF during last month's pay-per-view but got the last laugh when he piledrived MJF from the second rope. Rumors were that Garcia had not signed his deal yet so the powers that be were reluctant in giving him the victory. There were also rumors that WWE were interested in his services and with no deal signed, AEW decided to keep him off television until a decision was made. Garcia appeared in jeans, white shirt, and a Steve Austin-like vest and promised that everyone will see a new Daniel Garcia, one who does not cry or complain whenever he loses a match, but a Daniel Garcia which AEW builds its future on.

MR. MCMAHON NETFLIX DOCUMENTARY #6 GLOBALLY IN WEEK 2
- The Mr. McMahon documentary on Netflix dropped to #6 on the global Netflix chart in its second week, with 3,400,000 viewers and 19,500,000 hours consumed. In the major markets, the documentary was #4 in the United States, #7 in the United Kingdom, #4 in Canada, #4 in Australia, #9 in India, and #9 in Italy. Interestingly enough, the series did not crack the top #10 in Japan and Mexico, two countries where professional wrestling and WWE are popular.

NXT PREVIEW
- For the second - and last - week in a row, NXT will be coming to you on the road this time from Chesterfield, Missouri for a TV show on the CW from a rather unusual location for a wrestling event. Tonight's show will be going head-to-head with AEW's Dynamite: Title Tuesday between 9PM and 10PM so of course, WWE has loaded up the show more than usual. Headlining the show is WWE Superstar Randy Orton who is coming to wrestle on NXT for the first time against Je'Von Evans. NXT Tag Team champions Nathan Frazer and Axiom defend their titles against Austin Theory and Grayson Waller, and the other match announced so far is a six-woman tag match between Fatal Influence against Jade Cargill, Bianca Belair, and Kelani Jordan. Plus, Sexxy Red will have a performance, the NXT champion Trick Williams will be in the house, and Intercontinental champion Jey Uso will also make an appearance.

TRIPLE H TEASES MORE GOLDBERG INVOLVEMENT
- WWE Hall of Famer Bill Goldberg is still looking for that retirement match that Vince McMahon promised him during his last run. After things went cold, there might be some hope for the former World Heavyweight and Universal champion after Triple H teased more of Goldberg in the months to come. Goldberg attended Bad Blood this past weekend with his family and sat at ringside. He was involved in a segment with Gunther and also hopped over the security barricade looking for a fight before he was stopped. He eventually got in the ring where Triple H raised his arms and then told Gunther that he's "next." Yesterday, Triple H posted a video of him and Goldberg, once arch rivals in more ways than one, speaking to each other at Gorilla, a conversation which ended with a hand shake and a hug. "Thanks for coming to #WWEBadBlood @Goldberg," Triple H wrote. "We'll talk more very soon..." Goldberg last wrestled against Roman Reigns at the 2022 Elimination Chamber in Saudi Arabia.

NEW JERSEY SPENDING $7 MILLION OF PANDEMIC MONEY TO BRING SUMMERSLAM
- NorthJersey.com is reporting that the New Jersey Sports and Exposition Authority is using $7.125 million from its pandemic relief fund to secure the SummerSlam 2025 premium live event in East Rutherford next year. The money, part of the American Rescue Plan funding that the state of NJ received from the U.S. government, is to be used to "respond to the negative economic impacts of the public health emergency by providing aid to impacted industries such as tourism, travel and hospitality." NJSEA is expecting that SummerSlam, which they are billing as a "marquee event," will generate over $80 million in total economic impact for the region to justify the spending. The authority spent $3.5 million from the same fund to bring UFC 288 to the Prudential Center last year. The state of New Jersey received a total of $6.24 billion and funds must be spent by the end of 2026. Last month WWE announced that the two-night SummerSlam would be taking place at MetLife Stadium next August.

CM PUNK HINTS AT TIME OFF FROM WWE
- During the opening segment of Raw last night, CM Punk hinted that he was going to take some time off from WWE. Coming out all banged up and bandaged following that Hell In A Cell match against Drew McIntyre, Punk said that he was going home "for the first time" in five weeks to see his wife. "I¡¯d like to say I¡¯ll see you soon, but I just don¡¯t know," Punk continued, before thanking the fans while standing at the top of the entrance. Earlier, Punk addressed his haters and told them to keep doubting him. Before returning to the back, he was met by Seth Rollins who came out for the next segment and the two had a face-to-face before Rollins shoulder blocked him on the way to the ring. Rollins told Punk that he hopes he returns soon so that when he comes back, he would retire him once and for all.

SMACKDOWN RATING
- Smackdown on Friday night on USA drew 1,518,000 viewers for the Bad Blood go-home episode, down 50,000 viewers from the prior week. The show had a 0.47 rating in 18-49, up 0.02 from the previous show and was #1 on cable television for the night and #2 overall behind FOX's coverage of college football. (Ratings credit: Programming Insider)

AJ STYLES TO UNDERGO MRI THIS WEEK
- AJ Styles' injury on Smackdown this past Friday was not a storyline and the former WWE champion is suffering from a mid foot ligament sprain, otherwise known as Lisfranc injury. Styles was wrestling Carmelo Hayes when he suffered the injury and the match was stopped and the referee gave the win to Hayes. WWE's Jackie Redmond wrote on social media that Styles will be undergoing an MRI this week to determine how bad the injury is. "I believe everything happens for a reason," Styles wrote on X, promising fans to keep them updated on the situation. Styles was just returning on WWE television after four months away, with his last televised match coming at Clash at the Castle in June. He did work the non-televised live events in Japan and Europe in August but was kept off television since his title match loss to Cody Rhodes in Scotland.

BRAUN STROWMAN TEARS HIS GROIN IN BRONSON REED MATCH
- AJ Styles was not the only casualty of WWE television last week as Braun Strowman tore his groin two minutes into his last monster standing match against Bronson Reed on Raw. "After waiting a few days to see how this was gonna end up. This is where we¡¯re at," Strowman wrote in a post on Instagram, along with a video of a nasty, huge bruise on his back thigh. Strowman said that he "pained" his way through the match to yet again remind the world that he is the monster of all monsters. The former WWE Universal champion won the match after Seth Rollins interfered and curb stomped Reed on the steel steps, allowing Strowman to beat the 10 count barely.

DYNAMITE TO AIR AT 9PM TONIGHT
- AEW Dynamite will be airing tonight at a special start time of 9PM ET as it is pre-empted due to MLB coverage on TBS tomorrow. Tonight's episode is labeled as Title Tuesday and is being held at the Spokane Arena in Spokane, Washington. As of press time, just over 1,700 tickets have been distributed according to @WrestleTix. It will also run head-to-head with NXT for an hour, a change from last year when the two shows went head-to-head for the two hours. Last year, both WWE and AEW loaded up their broadcasts, with several main roster stars appearing on NXT including Cody Rhodes, John Cena, Paul Heyman, and The Undertaker. NXT won the battle last time around in the head-to-head ratings. The competition is slightly different this time, and while WWE is sending some top stars to the show from Chesterfield, Missouri, it has not been advertised the same last year's show was.

DYNAMITE PREVIEW
- It's Title Tuesday for Dynamite but unfortunately there's only one title match announced for tonight's broadcast which comes on at an unusual time of 9PM ET. Four matches are currently advertised for the show, with Mercedes Mone vs Emi Sakura for both the TBS and NJPW Strong Women's title, Bryan Danielson and Wheeler Yuta vs Claudio Castagnoli and Pac, Komander vs Hologram, and Britt Baker vs Willow Nightingale with the winner getting an AEW Women's title shot at WrestleDream this weekend. Plus, Jay White is back and Hook calls out his dad's attacker from last week.

MARIA KANELLIS LOOKING LIKE SHE'S EXITING AEW
- It looks like Maria Kanellis' time in AEW is coming to an end as she wrote that she will be accepting interviews and appear for bookings later after this month. Kanellis wrote that she would be able to discuss her "time and treatment" in AEW after October 31 and then be able to appear at other events six weeks after her scheduled surgery which is set for October 24. The former WWE Diva is going under the knife to remove a mass from her adrenal gland, a mass which she won't know if it's cancerous or not until after surgery. Before announcing the availability for interviews, Kanellis wrote, "My contract with AEW is coming up October 31. I¡¯ve reached out to them to find out whether or not they are going to be signing me, but I haven¡¯t really heard anything yet ¡ª so of course that is weighing on me as well." Kanellis and her husband Mike Bennett arrived in AEW in October 2022 although lately she has been appearing only on ROH TV as a manager.

RAMPAGE RATING
- Rampage on TNT drew 216,000 viewers this past Friday, down 60,000 viewers from the previous episode and the lowest since August 2. The show had a 0.07 rating in 18-49, down 0.01 from last week and matches the lowest number of the series so far. (Ratings credit: Programming Insider)

COLLISION RATING
- Collision Saturday night, going against college football, MLB, and the final one hour of WWE's Bad Blood, drew just 269,000 viewers, down 166,000 viewers from the prior week. The show had a 0.05 rating in 18-49, down 0.08 from the previous show and placed #15 for the night on the top 50 cable chart for the night. (Ratings credit: Programming Insider)

JANEL GRANT'S ATTORNEY REQUESTS WWE TO RELEASE EMPLOYEES FROM NDA'S
- Ann Callis, the attorney representing Janel Grant in her lawsuit against Vince McMahon, John Laurinaitis, and WWE, has asked WWE to release any employee, past or present, from previously-signed non-disclosure agreements related to sexual abuse so the victims can come forward. The story, carried by the Associated Press, said that the letter was addressed to WWE attorneys as well as the attorneys of the two other plaintiffs. In her letter, Callis said that if WWE and TKO are serious about cleaning up the company and parting ways from Vince McMahon and the toxic culture he created, they should have no problem releasing employees from their NDAs. "This is the first step to rehabilitating a company that covered up decades of sexual assault and human trafficking," Callis wrote. A copy of her letter was also sent to WWE President Nick Khan, WWE Chief Content Officer Paul "Triple H" Levesque, and Endeavor CEO Ari Emanuel. The full letter can be read at .

//->> OPENING WORDS FROM THE EDITOR

CM Punk proved a lot of people wrong last night. What a battle with Drew McIntyre! Enjoyed the main event too and cool to see Jimmy and The Rock back. Rest of the show was so-so but overall, a positive one.

========================================================

//->> NEWS FROM THE WRESTLING-ONLINE NEWSWIRE
Web version at

BAD BLOOD RESULTS
- Here are the results from last night's Bad Blood premium live event which took place from the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia: CM Punk defeated Drew McIntyre in a Hell In A Cell match; Nia Jax defeated Bayley to retain the WWE Women's title; Damian Priest defeated Finn Balor; Rhea Ripley defeated Liv Morgan via disqualification so Morgan retained the WWE Women's World title; Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns defeated Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu.

THE ROCK RETURNS AT BAD BLOOD
- The Final Boss returned at Bad Blood, his first WWE appearance since the Raw after WrestleMania, following the main event shenanigans which saw Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns defeat the Bloodline. As Rhodes and Reigns stared each other down in the middle of the ring, The Rock's iconic theme song hit the speakers and over 16,000 fans lost it. Rock slowly walked out with the People's championship over his shoulder and tapped on his chest to acknowledge the crowd's reaction. The Rock stayed at the top of the entrance as Cody, Roman, and the returning Jimmy Uso looked on from the ring and the rest of The Bloodline watched from the stands. The Rock spent a minute or so quiet, then did the People's Eyebrow and the cut throat hand signal to end the event before walking to the back. Immediately after going to the back, he went live on Instagram, saying there has been a lot of bullshit going on for the last six months and then said that he'll let everyone know his thoughts about the Bloodline development "when The Final Boss is ready." You can see his return at .

SEVERAL WWE LEGENDS AT BAD BLOOD
- Several WWE Legends and Hall of Famers appeared at the Bad Blood premium live event in Atlanta last night. Bill Goldberg and his son Cage, Jacqueline, Lilian Garcia, Booker T, Diamond Dallas Page, X-Pac, Tully Blanchard, Arn Anderson, Mickie James, and Scott Steiner all were shown on camera and acknowledged. Other celebrities shown included Quavo, Lil Baby, Metro Boomin, and Killer Mike. WWE Hall of Famer Goldberg even had an in-ring segment after Gunther called him out. After the Crown Jewel announcement, Gunther came to the ring and mentioned Goldberg, who was sitting ringside for the show. Gunther said that the comment he made to Bret Hart last time around that Goldberg was his childhood hero was simply a lie and no one could be impressed by a one-trick pony like Goldberg. Gunther then addressed Cage and told him he hopes Goldberg is a better father than he was a wrestler, a comment which did not sit down well with Goldberg. Goldberg jumped the security barricade but security and Raw General Manager Adam Pearce kept him away. Gunther told him that he got "three minutes" for him and then Sami Zayn then ran down to attack the World Heavyweight champion and eventually he bailed out. In the ring, Triple H raised Goldberg's hand and he told Gunther, "You're next, boy!" You can see the segment at .

JIMMY USO RETURNS AT BAD BLOOD, ALIGNS WITH ROMAN REIGNS
- After six months out, Jimmy Uso returned at Bad Blood and helped the team of Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns defeat The Bloodline in the main event of the show. Towards the end of the match, a hooded figure with a face covering appeared at ringside with Tama Tonga and Tanga Loa not realizing he was behind them. Sikoa did notice him and when he pointed at him, the WWE Tag Team champions got super kicked in the face. At that point, it was clear who the mystery man was and when he removed the hoodie and mask, the fans exploded. That was enough of a distraction for Sikoa, as he got speared by Reigns and went down for the count. After the match, Reigns and Uso hugged and following a short stare down with Cody, the two left together. The Bloodline did attack Cody when he was in the ring alone and then Jimmy pushed for Reigns to return and help out, which they did. Jimmy was last seen at the post-WrestleMania Smackdown in April when he was taken out by Solo Sikoa and the debuting Tama Tonga. You can see his return at .

RAQUEL RODRIGUEZ RETURNS TO HELP LIV MORGAN
- Following a long bout with mast cell activation syndrome, Raquel Rodriguez returned at Bad Blood last night and aligned herself with her former tag team partner Liv Morgan. Rodriguez interfered in the WWE Women's World title match between Morgan and Rhea Ripley, attacking Ripley and causing the disqualification in the match. As Ripley was hitting Mysterio with a kendo stick while he dangled upside down from the shark cage, Raquel came from behind and took her out. She then moved her to the ring and hit the Tejana Bomb on her, with the referee calling for the bell. Rodriguez then reunited with Morgan and went to check on Dom. Rodriguez last appeared at Elimination Chamber in Perth this past August but had another MCAS flare up and was immediately taken off the roster to recover.

KEVIN OWENS ATTACKS CODY RHODES AFTER BAD BLOOD
- Kevin Owens has finally flipped on Cody Rhodes, attacking him in the parking lot of the State Farm Arena following the Bad Blood show. With fans waiting in the back for Superstars to get out, Cody and Kevin were seen arguing next to Cody's tour bus and then Owens poked him before decking him with a right hand. With Rhodes down on the floor, Owens continued to unload on him until several security and WWE officials came in to break the fight. Owens eventually left in his Lamborghini and Rhodes was helped into the bus by officials. The turn has been teased for weeks on television, with Owens unhappy that Rhodes chose to team up with Roman Reigns in their fight against The Bloodline. You can see it at .

CHAMPIONS VS CHAMPIONS MAIN EVENTS SET FOR CROWN JEWEL
- The two top matches for Crown Jewel were announced last night by WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H, who unveiled a new Crown Jewel championship in what seems to be an annual tradition going forward. Dubbed as a "historic announcement," Triple H said that the main events of Crown Jewel will have the WWE champion taking on the WWE World Heavyweight champion and the WWE Women's champion taking on the WWE Women's World champion in singles matches, with none of the titles on the line, but the winners will receive the brand new Crown Jewel title. The new championship, made out of 50 carats of diamonds, is of a different design from the regular WWE championships and has a gold and green theme on a black leather strap, the colors used for Crown Jewel. In years past, the Survivor Series was the place where champions of each brand face each other but that went away in recent years especially since Survivor Series is now more marketed for WarGames. Crown Jewel takes place on November 2 live from Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This will be the sixth event of the series.

DDP THANKS WWE FOR "CHANGING THE ATMOSPHERE"
- In a post on social media, Diamond Dallas Page thanked Triple H and the new TKO leadership for making him feel welcome at Bad Blood. "With him at the helm of creative, along with the new owners of @TKOGrp, I personally had one of my favorite times at a #WWE event," DDP wrote. "Knowing my HOF career was made in WCW, regardless of how many close friends I had there at WWE, I never felt totally welcomed." He said that last night in Atlanta it was different, and when he got home, he signed his WWE Legends deal that was pending and sent it in. "It was very laid-back and fun to be around, just hanging out, & having some laughs. The entire WWE crew did a hell of a job," he continued. "The legends weren¡¯t just seen as guys and girls who used to be wrestlers. Last night we were seen as TRUE legends...superstars from the past that paved the way. Treated with the ultimate respect & kindness from everyone, which I believe is all we¡¯re really looking for." DDP thanked WWE for "changing the atmosphere" and thanked his fellow Superstars for taking their time and their kindness.

BAD BLOOD LIVE TONIGHT AT 6PM ET
- Live from the sold out State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia, WWE presents Bad Blood streaming live on Peacock and WWE Network. The full card is as follows: CM Punk vs Drew McIntyre in a Hell In A Cell match; Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns vs Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu; Liv Morgan vs Rhea Ripley for the WWE Women's World title with Dominik Mysterio suspended above the ring in a shark cage; Nia Jax vs Bayley for the WWE Women's title; and Damian Priest vs Finn Balor. Bad Blood will have a special start time of 6PM ET with the Countdown to Bad Blood starting an hour earlier at 5PM ET. The pre-show airs on WWE's social media channels as well as on Peacock and WWE Network. A press conference is set to take place immediately following the conclusion of the show, currently slated to start at 9:15PM ET.

HELL IN A CELL MATCH TO OPEN BAD BLOOD
- The Hell In A Cell match between CM Punk and Drew McIntyre will be opening the Bad Blood premium live event today after it was earmarked for the main event several days ago. This is the only Hell In A Cell match on the show as WWE has stepped back from having women HIAC matches, with the last one coming in 2021 with Bianca Belair defeating Bayley. The change in the main event could be due to a return or something big happening in the now main event match between Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns against Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu. Pat McAfee, speaking to Cody Rhodes a few days ago on his show, said that he heard that "the big guy is coming back this weekend," to which Cody replied, "Which one?" Cody also alluded that his opponent for the WWE title at Crown Jewel will become apparent on tonight's show.

NEW REPLICA TITLES NOW ON SALE
- The new NXT title, NXT Women's title, and Intercontinental title are already available for sale on WWE Shop. The Intercontinental title, which adds a little blue to the plates and which made its debut on Raw this past week, is available for sale for $499.99 while the NXT title and NXT Women's title, both of which also introduced this week during the premiere episode on the CW, are $449.99 each. The European shop has the Intercontinental title for €538, the NXT title for €466, and the NXT Women's title also for €466. WWE is currently holding a 35% off promotion by using the code BELT25 for the U.S. store. You can order at .

BAD BLOOD TO AIR ON NETFLIX IN BRAZIL
- Are you located in Brazil and want to watch Bad Blood tonight? As part of ongoing testing, Bad Blood will air on Netflix in the South American country only starting at 7PM Brasilia Standard Time. While not advertised on the front page, a simple search for WWE on Netflix brings up the Bad Blood graphic and a 'remind me' button. "Superstars seeing red look to settle their intense rivalries in vicious encounters, including the infamous Hell In A Cell match," reads the preview of the show. Netflix is expected to do more testing such as this over the next few months ahead of WWE's arrival in January 2025. The streaming giant already aired WrestleMania XL live in New Zealand earlier this year. All WWE premium live events will shift to Netflix internationally where there are no television deals in place, along with Raw, Smackdown, and NXT.

PROMO FOR MOTOR CITY MACHINE GUNS AIRS ON SMACKDOWN
- A promo aired last night on Smackdown which is believed to be for the arrival of former TNA Tag Team champions Motor City Machine Guns. The vignette shows a sports car racing through the streets with a glimpse of what looks to be the skyline of Detroit. A "coming soon" then appears to end the quick video. Chris Sabin and Alex Shelley have signed a deal with WWE and were reportedly set to be on the NXT brand but this promo suggests that they will eventually land on Smackdown in the near future. AEW were also interested in the duo and at one point that seemed like the likely destination but WWE won their services this time around.

ARN ANDERSON AND TULLY BLANCHARD AT BAD BLOOD
- Former WWE Tag Team champions Arn Anderson and Tully Blanchard are heading to Bad Blood tonight in Atlanta. "Heading to very familiar surroundings for WWE Bad Blood tomorrow in Atlanta," Anderson wrote on X. "Having Tully there should provide some serious flashbacks, and it will be an honor to walk the halls of the fresh, new WWE. To all my friends who still work there see ya tomorrow!" Arn last showed up on WWE television at SummerSlam, giving Cody Rhodes a pep talk before his WWE championship match against Solo Sikoa. Collectively known as The Brain Busters and two constants of the Four Horsemen, the duo have not appeared together in WWE since their Hall of Fame induction in 2012.

LATEST BAD BLOOD BETTING ODDS
- We are just hours away from the Bad Blood premium live event, a show which returns to the WWE calendar for the first time in 20 years. It also happens to be 27 years exactly to the date of the original In Your House: Badd Blood. We are presenting you the latest betting odds for the show and while these are accurate as of press time, they might change just before the show starts so be careful when betting with real money. In the only Hell In A Cell match of the night, CM Punk is the clear favorite to emerge victorious with his odds set at 1/20 while Drew McIntyre is 7/1 to end this feud on a high. Dominik Mysterio will be suspended in a shark cage as his girl Liv Morgan defends her WWE Women's World title against his former girl, Rhea Ripley. Morgan is still favorite with 2/15 odds to retain this title while Ripley is 4/1. Former Judgment Day team mates Damian Priest and Finn Balor collide tonight with the former WWE World Heavyweight champion having 1/5 odds and favorite while Balor is 3/1 for the upset. WWE Women's champion Nia Jax is 1/4 favorite to retain her title while former champion Bayley is 5/2 to regain it. And the unlikely pairing of Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns are favorite to defeat The Bloodline in tonight's apparent main event, with the faces having 1/5 odds and the heels at 3/1.

NO COLLISION NEXT WEEK
- There will be no Collision next week as WrestleDream will be held on a Saturday night and AEW opted not to do the show rather than hold it on Friday like last month. A month ago, Collision was held on Friday, September 6 and went head-to-head with Smackdown on FOX and an NFL game on Peacock, which was not the greatest idea as the show drew just 157,000 viewers, the lowest-ever for the series. "It's the final #AEWCollision before #AEWWrestleDream with major implications for the event," wrote the AEW X account, confirming the news. Collision, like Dynamite, is part of the new AEW/WBD media rights deal and will keep its Saturday night time slot on TNT in 2025 and beyond.

//->> OPENING WORDS FROM THE EDITOR

TGIF! Back tomorrow before Bad Blood.

========================================================

//->> NEWS FROM THE WRESTLING-ONLINE NEWSWIRE
Web version at

SMACKDOWN PREVIEW
- The Bad Blood go-home episode of Smackdown airs tonight live on USA Network from the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee, with over 10,000 fans expected in the audience. The show will be headlined by a triple threat ladder match for the WWE Tag Team titles as Tama Tonga and Jacob Fatu of The Bloodline defend their titles against The Street Profits and DIY. Also tonight, Chelsea Green takes on Michin in a dumpster match, Naomi battles Ms Money In The Bank Tiffany Stratton, and the "Phenomenal" AJ Styles returns after three months off WWE television. Plus, ahead of their tag team match tomorrow night, Smackdown will take a special look at Cody Rhodes & Roman Reigns' match against The Bloodline. Reigns is not advertised as appearing live at the show although the WWE champion is.

PEACOCK SAYS NXT LIBRARY REMOVED DUE TO RIGHTS EXPIRY, RAW NEXT
- After Peacock removed all episodes of the NXT library from its service, Wrestling-Online.com reached out to NBCUniversal for clarification. A Peacock spokesperson confirmed that Peacock no longer has the library rights of NXT episodes from October 1 onward due to the move of the show to the CW. NXT premium live events will continue to air on Peacock and available on-demand but weekly episodes, including those of the past, are not available anymore. A CW spokesman also confirmed a few weeks ago that CW will not have the full NXT library and the network will only have episodes of the show which aired on CW on their app. In addition, all WWE Raw episodes on Peacock will also be removed from the service in January 2025. This is because Raw is moving to Netflix and an expiry clock on these episodes will be shown starting December 2. It's unclear if all previous episodes of Raw will also port to Netflix in the United States. Smackdown episodes, including new and the full library of the show, will remain on Peacock due to the company's agreement with NBCUniversal for the next five years. Also, all premium live events, including NXT ones, will remain exclusive to Peacock in the United States.

ELIMINATION CHAMBER PLE RUMORED FOR ENGLAND
- The usually-reliable @WrestleVotes X account is reporting that the Elimination Chamber 2025 premium live event will be taking place in England next. Set for March, the two cities which are considered to be front-runners to host the event are Birmingham and Manchester. The Utilita Arena in Birmingham holds nearly 16,000 fans while Manchester has two arenas, the AO Arena, with a max capacity of 21,000 and the Co-op Live, with a max of 23,000. WWE is holding a non-televised live event at the Co-op which has not sold good and less than 3,000 tickets have been distributed, largely because of very expensive prices. Last year's Elimination Chamber was held in Perth, Australia.

NIKKI GARCIA GETS RESTRAINING ORDER AGAINST HER ESTRANGED HUSBAND
- The relationship between Nikki Garcia and her estranged husband Artem Chigvintsev got more complicated after Garcia file a restraining order against him this week. A judge signed off on the request following Nikki's sworn declaration to court according to TMZ.COM. Nikki wrote that her husband tackled her multiple times and pinned her to the ground when their son was present. She also said that since he was removed from Dancing with the Stars, he grew increasingly angry, snapping at her, and yelling a her. On the day 911 was called and police showed up to arrest him for domestic violence, she did admit that she threw their son's toddler-size 7 shoes at him and hit his leg, but since they're light and small, no damage could have been done. Nikki also detailed what happened that same day and when police showed up, their four-year-old son told them that daddy hurt his hand. Imposing the restraining order, the judge has prohibited Artem from contacting or coming within 100 yards of Nikki, their son, and their home with the only exception being for visitation or exchange of the child per court-ordered visits. The judge denied Nikki's request to travel out of country with their son pending a full hearing on October 21.

EARLY BETTING ODDS FOR BAD BLOOD
- WWE is back with another premium live event as Bad Blood takes place live from Atlanta, Georgia tomorrow with a special start time of 6PM ET. The show will be held exactly 27 years to the day of the original Bad Blood, a show which was then headlined by The Undertaker vs Shawn Michaels in the first-ever Hell In A Cell match. Today we present you with the early odds for the show. Remember, these betting odds will likely change so please be careful when betting with real money! The only Hell In A Cell match on the card features CM Punk vs Drew McIntyre, with their year-long feud climaxing on this very show. Punk is 1/14 favorite to defeat the Scottish Warrior who is at 7/1 in his odds. Mortal enemies Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns team up for the first time, and probably the last time, to take down a common enemy: The Bloodline! The WWE champion and Reigns are 1/5 favorites to beat Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu who have 3/1 odds as of this writing. Former stablemates Damian Priest will clash with Finn Balor. Priest has odds of 1/4 and favorite in this match while Balor currently has 5/2 odds. The Judgment Day will also be represented in the Women's World title match as champion Liv Morgan defends against Rhea Ripley. Morgan is 1/7 favorite to retain her title and Ripley is 4/1 to win back the title she never lost. Bayley is looking to regain the WWE Women's title against champion Nia Jax but things are not looking good for her on paper as Jax is 1/4 favorite while Bayley is the underdog with 5/2 odds as well.

DYNAMITE RATING
- The fifth anniversary episode of Dynamite this week drew 680,000 viewers, down 22,000 viewers from the prior week. The show had a 0.20 rating in 18-49, down 0.03 from the last show and placed #7 on the top 50 cable chart for the night. This was the least-watched episode in a month, facing one MLB playoff game on ESPN. (Ratings credit: Programming Insider)

RAMPAGE ENDING IN DECEMBER
- AEW Rampage is expected to end its run in December and will not return on TNT as part of the new AEW/WBD media rights deal in 2025. The one-hour broadcast on Friday nights, which started in 2021 and was the show which CM Punk made his return on after seven years out, has been tanking in the ratings this year, with an average of just 320,000 viewers so far. Rampage was not mentioned anywhere in the press release issued by AEW and Warner Bros. Discovery and Battle of the Belts, which is a quarterly show on TNT, was also omitted, suggesting that it will be canned as well. AEW is rumored to be negotiating a deal for another show, tentatively titled Shockwave, with FOX. Some industry insiders suggested that while AEW on WBD is not exclusive, WBD has the exclusivity when it comes to cable - on TNT and TBS - and on streaming - on Max - so that would leave network television and the main FOX station as the only other option, which would be a huge get for the company.

TAZ OUT FOR KNEE REPLACEMENT SURGERY
- It's going to be a few months before you hear Taz on AEW commentary again as the former ECW champion is undergoing knee replacement surgery. Taz was "attacked" by someone in the parking lot before Dynamite this week and was not on commentary duties, with Nigel McGuinness replacing him in the three-man booth with Tony Schiavone and Excalibur. On X, the man also known as the Human Suplex Machine wrote, "Unfortunately, I will be out for a while. I¡¯ll be having total knee replacement surgery very soon. Talk to you guys down the road." Taz has been doing Dynamite commentary full time since June 2022, replacing Jim Ross.

//->> OPENING WORDS FROM THE EDITOR

Congrats to AEW for securing a new television deal. The deal ensures that hundreds of people can continue to work and get paid while we get entertained. Love it or hate it, the things they've done in five years is remarkable. Yeah, they're a bit on the low at the moment, but wrestling is a cycle.

AEW AND WARNER BROS. DISCOVERY ANNOUNCE NEW MEDIA RIGHTS DEAL
- All Elite Wrestling and Warner Bros. Discovery today officially announced a new, multi-year media rights deal which will keep AEW programming on WBD properties for the next few years. Dynamite will remain on TBS while Collision will remain on TNT and both shows will stream live on Max simultaneously for viewers in the United States. Episodes of Dynamite and Collision will be available to stream on-demand from January 2025. There was no mention of Rampage. AEW live pay-per-views will be streaming on Max later in 2025 at a discounted price and the deal also calls for enhanced distribution rights across social media and potential new AEW programming on linear and digital platforms. ¡°We are honored to announce the extension of our incredible partnership with Warner Bros. Discovery,¡± said AEW CEO, GM and head of creative Tony Khan. ¡°This extension continues the tradition of iconic wrestling events broadcast on TBS and TNT, while also establishing a new legacy for AEW through weekly live streams on Max for years to come. We thank David Zaslav, Kathleen Finch and everyone at WBD for their tireless support of All Elite Wrestling since its inception, as well as the AEW fans, talent and staff that helped make this possible.¡± ¡°Tony Khan and the entire AEW team have been incredible partners, and we are thrilled to strike this expanded agreement to deliver amazing new AEW content and stories to TNT and TBS, as well as bring the thrilling live action to Max for the first time,¡± said Kathleen Finch, Chairman and CEO of US Networks for Warner Bros. Discovery. ¡°We are focused on creating fresh and authentic experiences for AEW¡¯s passionate and engaged fanbase while also introducing them to our growing lineup of high-action sports and entertainment at TNT and beyond.¡± Financial terms were not disclosed but according to Variety, the deal is over $150 million per year.

UPDATE ON NEW AEW/WBD MEDIA RIGHTS DEAL
- The new AEW media rights deal is for three years with another option year if Warner Bros. Discovery decides to extend their partnership. The $150 million per year quoted is just the base figure, with the deal reportedly worth closer to $180 million in the second and third year when factoring in the pay-per-views on Max and also other programming that will be coming. A fourth option year would bring in more revenue. Pay-per-view marketing will be centered around Max and fans will get a discount if they buy the AEW shows on the streaming service versus paying full price on other providers such as Triller, YouTube, or PPV.COM. An exact time frame on when that starts was not revealed as the ability to provide pay-per-views on the service is still being worked on. The biggest win in the deal is also the ability for Dynamite and Collision to simulcast on Max starting next year. That means for those fans in the United States who do not have cable television, they can still watch the shows through their Max subscription. The Sports Business Journal also revealed that with this new deal, "WBD also keeps its equity stake in AEW," but the size of it was not disclosed. There were unconfirmed rumors before that WBD owns a piece of AEW which was seemingly confirmed by SBJ. The deal is far less than the rumored $1 billion figure that was floated around last year.

SHELTON BENJAMIN MAKES AEW DEBUT
- Former WWE Superstar Shelton Benjamin made a surprise appearance last night during Dynamite, with the Hurt Business slowly loading back on AEW television. During a backstage segment, MVP said that he has a big announcement, but was interrupted by Price Nana, returning the favor from last week. Nana reminded MVP that he was a wrestler before and will have no problem to put his wrestling boots back on and face him. MVP told Nana that what he was saying sounded like a complaint to him, and he doesn't deal with that, but had somebody who does. At that point, he pointed to someone out of frame, and in walked Shelton Benjamin to a big pop from the crowd. Benjamin asked Nana if there's an issue and walked away with MVP. The former WWE Intercontinental champion has signed a deal with AEW and will reform the Hurt Business, to be known the Hurt Syndicate, when Bobby Lashley debuts. Benjamin was released from WWE in September of las year. You can see his appearance at .

JAY WHITE RETURNS
- "Switchblade" Jay White returned to AEW last night and attacked Hangman Adam Page, who just minutes earlier defeated White's stablemate Juice Robinson. White has been out for the past three months dealing with a foot injury that he suffered in a match against Page in the semifinals of the Owen Hart Cup tournament back in early July. At the time, White was one third of the AEW Trios champions with The Gunns and his injury forced them to surrender the titles. The 31-year-old former IWGP World Heavyweight champion has been with AEW since 2022 and is currently part of the Bang Bang Gang with Robinson and The Gunns.

MORE MATCHES ADDED TO WRESTLEDREAM
- A couple of more matches were added to the WrestleDream pay-per-view yesterday during the fifth anniversary episode of Dynamite. Former AEW World champion Chris Jericho is setting his eyes back on the ROH World title and challenged Mark Briscoe for a match on the pay-per-view. Jericho was ROH champion in 2022, holding on to the title for 80 days. TNT champion Jack Perry will defend his title against Katsuyori Shibata. Shibata appeared on the show and met Jack Perry backstage, asking him for a match through a translation on his phone. Perry said he'll think about it and then took out Shibata and accepted his challenge. Darby Allin went from having a guaranteed title shot for the AEW World title to issuing an open challenge for the PPV. Allin lost his shot last week to Jon Moxley and appeared via a taped promo where he asked anyone in the locker room to show up and fight him on the show. Also, following the International title match last night between Will Ospreay and Ricochet which ended in a disqualification after the interference of Konosuke Takeshita, a three-way match between them for the title was later announced by Tony Khan on social media. WrestleDream takes place on Saturday, October 12 from Tacoma, Washington.

BRYAN DANIELSON DELIVERS SPEECH AFTER DYNAMITE ENDS
- Following the conclusion of the fifth anniversary episode of Dynamite, AEW World champion Bryan Danielson talked to the fans in a speech to mark the special occasion. Danielson thanked AEW President Tony Khan, who he said without him, there would be no alternative. He said that because of Tony Khan, AEW exists which is better for the wrestlers, better for production people, and better for fans. He then thanked the crowd in Pittsburgh. "I first wrestled in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania 23 years ago," Danielson said. "And I don¡¯t know if you guys remember, but you were the crowd that made me into a WrestleMania main-eventer. So I just wanted to say thank you, Pittsburgh!" Danielson then thanked the boys and girls in the back because they're the ones who made this place great. He said he had a lifetime job with WWE and he chose to come to AEW because that's where the best wrestlers in the world are, it's where the best fans in the world are, and AEW is the best wrestling company in the world. The champion ended the speech by promising that come WrestleDream, he will "kick Jon Moxley's f*cking head in!" The full speech is at .

TWO SEPARATE INCIDENTS AT ROH TV TAPINGS
- Sammy Guevara had to be stretchered out of the arena last night after an injury he suffered during the ROH tapings prior to Dynamite. Guevara was wrestling Serpentico in a match taped for ROH's weekly show when a mis-timed spot led to Serpentico landing square on Guevara's face knocking him out. The referee, following procedures, ended the match, handing the win to Serpentico, and then EMTs attended to Guevara in the ring. A stretcher was brought out and he was taken backstage, where early reports suggest that he was on the receiving end of a concussion. Guevara was not the only person who was stretchered out during the Ring of Honor tapings as the match between Lady Frost and Kelly Madan was also halted due to Madan getting knocked out. EMTs also had to rush to the ring to help her and she was taken out on a stretcher as well.

REPORT: BOBBY LASHLEY SIGNS AEW DEAL
- Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful is reporting that Bobby Lashley has signed a deal with AEW and is expected to make his debut with the company shortly. Lashley would be the third member of the former Hurt Business to join the company following MVP and Shelton Benjamin. Benjamin made his AEW debut last night. The other person in the old faction, Cedric Alexander, is still under a WWE deal. Lashley's contract with WWE expired in August, with his last match coming on May 5 at a non-televised live event in France, beating Santos Escobar. His last televised appearance was on April 12 of this year, in a triple threat match against LA Knight and Santos Escobar. The 48-year-old Lashley worked with WWE between 2005 and 2008 and again from 2018 onwards. He is a former two-time WWE champion, two-time Intercontinental champion, three-time United States champion and two-time ECW champion.

MERCEDES MONE TALKS VINCE AND SHANE MCMAHON IN LATEST MONE MAG
- In her latest Mone Mag edition, TBS champion Mercedes Mone touched on the Vince McMahon Netflix documentary as well as wanting to see Shane McMahon in AEW. Mone said that like most people who watched it, she was trying to understand Vince's relationship with his son Shane and how Shane just wanted to make his father proud just like Vince wanted to do with his own father. "To see Shane¡¯s passion for that, as well as his passion for wrestling, moved me," Mercedes said. "Seeing Shane¡¯s incredible heart and passion for wrestling makes me think he has a lot of unfinished business." Mone also wondered if Shane is coming to AEW. McMahon already had a meeting with Tony Khan and recently took a photo with The Young Bucks at an airport. "I¡¯m here for it, and I¡¯m sure our roster is too," Mone said. "Regardless, it just seems like Shane belongs in the wrestling business. I admit if he doesn¡¯t come back to wrestling, it will make me sad for him. I know what it¡¯s like to be removed from what you love and how sad it made me. I imagine he feels the same way." Writing about the McMahon documentary, Mone said that she was a little bit disappointed and didn't feel that there was too much new information for her to digest. She called Vince a "crazy genius" for elevating wrestling to a whole new stratosphere and can't believe she got to work for him. "He created a universe fans have enjoyed for decades and still do. He made wrestling larger than life. He did it all, and he tried it all. And he failed so many times, too. Where the business is at today is all because of him and his ideas. And that¡¯s what I really liked it," she said.

NXT RATING
- On a tough night for a debut going against the Vice Presidential debate which drew over 43 million viewers across 15 networks, NXT's premiere on The CW drew 895,000 viewers, up 275,000 viewers from the previous week. The show had a 0.26 rating in 18-49, up 0.07 from last week and this was The CW's highest-rated broadcast of 2024 so far. (Ratings credit: Programming Insider)

CM PUNK GIVES MOST-DETAILED OVERVIEW OF RETURN AT SURVIVOR SERIES
- Appearing on the brand new No-Contest Wrestling podcast on The Rich Eisen Podcast Network, WWE Superstar CM Punk gave the most detailed overview of how his Survivor Series return came to be last year. Speaking to hosts O'Shea Jackson, Jr. and TJ Jefferson, Punk said that when he arrived at the Allstate Arena for the show, he still didn't have a signed contract and was not sure if the deal was even going to happen. He was given a hoodie and told to stay in his car in the back, where several production trucks were also parked. Punk said that the truck next to him had a photo of Steve Austin so he took a selfie and sent it to Austin, who replied with, "WTF kid?" Punk said that they cleared the hallway and he was brought in through the service elevator and hid in Triple H's office just as the WarGames match was starting, awaiting news if the deal is going through or not. When he was told it's on, he walked through and arrived at Gorilla where it was packed with people since the show was about to end. Bayley was the first one to give him a bear hug, telling Punk that she knew it was him when they told everyone to clear. He also met Stephanie McMahon, who he had not seen in 10 years. Punk said he had no idea what he was going to do or how the layout of the entrance was and was trying to communicate with Triple H what he wants him to do. Triple H told him to walk up to the cages, where they held the wrestlers before they entered WarGames, but Punk thought he needed to walk to the main cage in the ring. Among the confusion, he finally figured out what was required of him and all of a sudden they hit his music and the rest is history! You can watch the first part of the Punk interview at

NXT was good, but not the earth-shattering show I was expecting, or what HBK hyped us for. Maybe they're saving it for next week when it matters against AEW. Who knows.

AEW MEDIA RIGHTS ANNOUNCEMENT IMMINENT
- The announcement of AEW's new media rights deal with Warner Bros. Discovery is expected imminently, as in, today, to coincide with Dynamite's fifth year anniversary. AEW President Tony Khan said on X that he "may" have an announcement by showtime today, with that announcement being the confirmation of the new television deal. The announcement has been expected for weeks after both sides wrapped up their negotiations. The deal is not expected to be exclusive as AEW is also working with another network, reportedly FOX, to bring another show to television. Today's rumored announcement will only concern the deal with Warner Bros. Discovery. Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Wrestling is also reporting through his Select service that one part of the deal is for Dynamite and Collision to be simulcast live on Max apart from airing on cable television.

DYNAMITE CELEBRATES FIFTH YEAR ANNIVERSARY TONIGHT
- Dynamite celebrates its fifth anniversary tonight with a live broadcast on TBS from the Petersen Events Center in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania in front a crowd of just under 5,000 fans. Four matches have been announced so far, two of which are for a title. Headlining the show will be AEW World champion Bryan Danielson vs AEW Continental champion Kazuchika Okada. This match is for both titles, but the Continental title is only on the line for the first 20 minutes of the match. Also set for tonight are Will Ospreay vs Ricochet for the AEW International title, "Hangman" Adam Page vs Juice Robinson, and Serena Deeb vs Britt Baker. The show is expected to have a longer than usual overrun.

TRICK WILLIAMS WINS NXT TITLE
- Trick Williams walked out of the Allstate Arena with extra weight in his luggage as he was crowned the new NXT champion on the premiere episode on The CW. Williams defeated Ethan Page in the main event of the show which also had CM Punk as the guest referee. The finish of the match saw Page delivering the GTS on Trick, but he kicked out. Page then tried to hit his Ego's Edge finisher but Williams found a way out by sliding and then hit the Trick Shot as Punk counted to three. Confetti fell as Williams celebrated and then Page got in CM Punk's face, who he pushed and Punk hit a GTS on Page as payback as the crowd exploded. This is Williams' second run with the NXT title, with his 75-day run coming to an end courtesy of Ethan Page, who held the title for 86 days himself.

PUNK BUYS PIZZA FOR ALL FANS AT ALLSTATE ARENA
- Following the conclusion of NXT from the Allstate Arena last night, CM Punk informed the fans that everyone can get free pizza. "I don't want to cut the champ's celebration short, but I gotta tell you a little secret, on your way out, ladies and gentlemen, get yourself some Lou Malnati's pizza on us," Punk said. "Share with your friends, share with your neighbors, remember I love you...we are NXT!" A Lou Malnati truck was stationed outside in the parking lot with staff handing out pizza to everyone who walked up. Founded in 1971, Lou Malnati's Pizzeria has become one of the Chicago's area's best-known deep dish pizza restaurant. When Punk returned to pro wrestling with AEW in 2021, he also bought ice cream for all fans at the United Center.

CORA JADE RETURNS
- Cora Jade made her return to NXT last night and caused Gulia her NXT Women's title, helping her frenemy Roxanne Perez defeat the Japanese star. Jade interfered in the match wearing a hoodie, attacking Giulia just as Perez was distracting the referee while holding the NXT Women's title. Jade pulled Giulia outside the ring and hit a DDT on the floor, then threw Giulia back in the ring and Perez delivered the Pop Rocks for the win. With Perez celebrating in the ring, Jade removed her hoodie to reveal herself as Perez looked amused. The two were best friends in the past before Jade turned on Perez. This was Jade's first appearance since January. She had been out injured with a torn ACL she suffered at an NXT non-televised live event. She blew her knee just a month after returning from a five-month break. You can see her return at .

BIANCA BELAIR AND JADE CARGILL TO WRESTLE ON NXT
- Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill will be wrestling on next week's NXT following their appearance on last night's show in Rosemont. The WWE Women's Tag Team champions came out to help NXT Women's North American champion Kelani Jordan in her ongoing battle against the Fatal Influence trio. After their segment, it was announced that Belair and Jade would team up with Jordan to take on Fallon Henley, Jack Jane, and Jazmyn Nye in a six-woman tag team match on next week's show. The October 8 episode of NXT from St. Louis will go head-to-head with AEW's Title Tuesday episode. Randy Orton is also scheduled to appear and wrestle against Je'Von Evans while Sexyy Red will have a musical performance.

NEW LOGO, NEW TITLES FOR NXT
- Black and gold is no more as a new era of NXT was ushered in last night on The CW with a brand new logo and brand new men and women's NXT titles. The modified logo drops the longer design to the N and T letters of the brand's acronym, with a more streamlined font and using the black and silver colors. The now older logo was originally introduced for NXT 2.0 with more colors but that was changed to black and gold again when McMahon left the company. The new NXT titles also drop the large X on the main plate, with the new logo now front and center. The men's title has a black leather strap and the women's title has a white leather strap just like the main roster. You can see the new logo and titles at .

VIGNETTE FOR NEW NXT ARRIVAL DELTA AIRS
- A vignette for a new NXT arrival aired last night prior to the main event of the show. The 20-second promo showed a red-headed woman walking down a highway in the desert with a skyline showing in the distance. As the camera pans upwards, you see the highway sign with 10 and 27 shown, numbers that suggest October 27. October 27 is NXT's next premium live event Halloween Havoc which will be held at the Giant Center in Hershey, Pennsylvania. The vignette is to promote the arrival of Australian star Delta, who signed with the company a few months ago. Delta wrestled her last match for Riot City Wrestling in her home country this past July. The promo can be seen at .

RAW RATING
- WWE Raw drew 1,516,000 viewers this week, up 178,000 viewers from the previous week and going against two NFL games again which had a combined audience of almost 20 million viewers. Raw started with 1,580,000 viewers and then dropped to 1,540,000 viewers in the second hour and finished the night with 1,430,000 viewers. In 18-49, Raw was #4, #6, and #7 with 0.50, 0.49, and 0.45 respectively for an average of 0.48, up 0.05 from the previous week. Overall, Raw was #2 on cable and #5 overall in all of television. (Ratings credit: Programming Insider)

CODY RHODES SAYS WM 41 MAIN EVENT WILL BE "BIGGER THAN ANYONE ANTICIPATED"
- Appearing on The Pat McAfee Show, WWE champion Cody Rhodes suggested that next year's WrestleMania might be so big that no one would have even guessed. WrestleMania 41 I am looking to do what I¡¯ve done 3 times now and enter the main event," Rhodes said. "But I think it will be something that, perhaps, is bigger than anyone anticipated!" Rhodes has main evented night two of WrestleMania 39 against Roman Reigns, night one of WrestleMania 40 with Seth Rollins against The Rock and Roman Reigns, and night two of WrestleMania 40 against Roman Reigns, the night he "finished his story." WrestleMania 41 in Las Vegas is being promoted already as being the biggest one ever, although attendance-wise it will be anything but that due to the size limitation of the Allegiant Stadium. Tickets go on sale on October 25.

BAD BLOOD STORE OPENING TOMORROW

//->> OPENING WORDS FROM THE EDITOR

Looking forward to see what NXT cooks up tonight for its CW premiere episode. Hopefully the crowd is up for it.

========================================================

//->> NEWS FROM THE WRESTLING-ONLINE NEWSWIRE
Web version at

NXT MOVES TO THE CW TONIGHT
- A new era of NXT kicks in tonight as the show moves to the CW Network beginning at 8PM ET with a show live from the Allstate Arena in Rosemont, Illinois. It's a huge night for NXT, with two big title matches on the card. Starting the show will be Roxanne Perez defending the NXT Women's champion against Giulia while the main event will be Ethan Page defending the NXT title against Trick Williams with Chicago's own CM Punk as the special guest referee. Other matches announced are Wes Lee vs Zachary Wentz in a street fight and Lola Vice teams up with Jaida Parker to take on two members of Fatal Influence. Plus, Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill appear and The Miz hosts MizTV with guests Oba Femi and Tony D'Angelo.

SETH ROLLINS RETURNS ON RAW
- Seth Rollins returned to Raw last night, interfering in the main event match between Bronson Reed and Braun Strowman. After Reed hit a superplex on Strowman and both men struggled to get to their feet to beat the 10-count, Rollins ran in and delivered a curb stomp on Reed who was using the ring steps as leverage to get up. With Reed completely out, Strowman barely made it up on his feet before the count and was declared the winner. Reed attacked Rollins in August, delivering six tsunami splashes off the top rope, an angle done to explain why Rollins would be off television for the next several weeks to recover from an injury. Rollins has not wrestled since Money In The Bank on July 6. You can see his return at .

SAMI ZAYN GETS WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE SHOT NEXT WEEK
- Sami Zayn is finally getting what he wants: a World Heavyweight title match against Gunther, and that match will take place next week as the main event of the two-hour Raw. Zayn has been trying to get Gunther to agree to a match for several weeks now, but only managed to get a yes last night after he poked Gunther with the wrong line! During their in-ring segment, Gunther said that losing to Zayn at WrestleMania was the biggest embarrassment of his career because he lost in front of his wife, his parents, and his family. Gunther told Zayn that his father told him that he had to travel all the way from Vienna to Philadelphia to see his son lose to Zayn. Gunther continued telling Zayn that while Zayn kept losing in front of his wife and kid, his family is not used to seeing him fail as he was the golden boy of the family. Zayn admitted that he lost several matches in front of his family, but always got back up and went on to the next challenge. Gunther, he said, was such a failure th
at he disappeared and never even asked for a rematch because his dad told him he's a loser and now, after several weeks, he's also showing his father that he's a coward too. That was enough for Gunther, who flattened Zayn, put him in a sleeper, and delivered a powerbomb. Gunther then accepted Zayn's challenge but it was Zayn who had the last laugh as he finally broke down the Austrian.

ILJA DRAGUNOV OUT WITH TORN ACL
- It's going to be a while before we see Ilja Dragunov back in the ring as WWE announced last night on Raw that the Russian star tore his ACL during a non-televised live event this past weekend. Dragunov was wrestling Gunther in Columbus, Georgia, in a match for the World Heavyweight title when the injury took place. On Raw, commentator Joe Tessitore said that the former NXT champion will be out for up to nine months as he needs to undergo surgery. Dragunov has been part of the main roster since the April WWE Draft.

SMACKDOWN RATING
- Smackdown last Friday on USA drew 1,568,000 viewers, up 73,000 viewers from the previous week. The show had the same 0.45 rating in the 18-49 demo that it did last week and was #2 on cable television and #2 overall, even beating FOX's coverage of college football which aired in Smackdown's place on the network. (Ratings credit: Programming Insider)

DANIELSON VS OKADA BOOKED FOR TOMORROW
- Dynamite's fifth anniversary episode tomorrow night will be headlined by a major match featuring AEW World champion Bryan Danielson versus AEW Continental champion Kazuchika Okada. Both the AEW World and Continental titles will be on the line, however, since the Continental title matches have a 20-minute time limit, that title will only be at stake for the first 20 minutes of the match. If Danielson manages to beat Okada in the first 20 minutes, he will win the Continental title, but failure to defeat Okada in 20 minutes means that Okada's title will no longer be on the line, and if Danielson eventually beats Okada, then he does not win the title. For Danielson, the stakes remain high as if Okada beats him, then Danielson will retire from full-time in-ring action apart from losing the AEW World title.

BLEACHER REPORT OFFICIALLY ANNOUNCES END OF AEW PPV OFFERINGS
- Bleacher Report has started e-mailing users notifying them that they will no longer be offering AEW pay-per-views. "Hello, it's been a high-flying time, but Bleacher Report is taking a step back from the AEW pay-per-view ring," the e-mail states. "Don't worry though, we're not throwing in the towel on wrestling - you can continue to use the B/R app to keep up with your favorite moments and storylines." Users who previously purchased AEW pay-per-views through the B/R system have the option to keep the replays of the events purchased through TrillerTV as long as they opt-in through a link which is only valid for 14 days. AEW pay-per-views will be available through TrillerTV, YouTube, and PPV.COM moving forward.

RAMPAGE RATING
- Rampage drew 276,000 viewers on Friday night on TNT, down 51,000 viewers from the previous episode which was the highest in eight weeks. The show had a 0.08 rating in 18-49, down 0.04 from the last show, and was #15 on the top 50 cable chart for the night. (Ratings credit: Programming Insider)

KILLSWITCH HOSPITALIZED WITH DOUBLE PNEUOMONIA
- Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Wrestling is reporting that AEW star Killswitch is currently in hospital suffering from pneumonia in both lungs. The former TNT champion was found passed out by his fiancee and was rushed to a hospital where doctors found that his oxygen level was dangerously below 80%. He is expected to be out of action for at least a month, although it's likely that he will be sidelined for more. The 39-year-old last wrestled at All In.

COLLISION RATING
- Collision on Saturday night had a nice boost in viewership, drawing 435,000 viewers, up 88,000 viewers from the previous week. This is the most-watched episode in over a month. The show had a 0.13 rating in 18-49, up 0.01 from the prior week and was #3 for the night on cable. (Ratings credit: Programming Insider)

PETE ROSE PASSES AWAY AT AGE 83
- WWE Hall of Famer and baseball great Pete Rose passed away yesterday at the age of 83. His cause of death remains unknown. Rose, best known for ending his baseball career with a record-breaking 4,256 hits, has made several WWE appearances throughout the years, and for three years in a row made it to WrestleMania only to get attacked by Kane. At WrestleMania XIV, Rose was the guest ring announcer for the Kane vs Undertaker match but he ran down the Boston crowd and Kane took him out with a Tombstone. At WrestleMania XV, Rose tried to get his revenge on Kane and dressed as the San Diego Chicken in a bid to attack the Big Red Machine. Obviously, that did not work and Kane hit another Tombstone on him. He also appeared at WrestleMania 2000 and this time he tried to attack Kane with a baseball bat. But he got a chokeslam for his trouble and a stink face from Rikishi. Two years later, Rose was part of the No Mercy commercial where he also got another choke slam from Kane. In 2004, Pete R
ose became the first celebrity to enter the celerity wing of the WWE Hall of Fame and was inducted by his arch rival Kane. As a baseball player, Rose played for the Cincinnati Reds, Philadelphia Phillies, and Montreal Expos. He also managed the Reds before he was banned for life by the Major League Baseball after he admitted that he had bet on several sports.

//->> OPENING WORDS FROM THE EDITOR

Yesterday I finished the Mr. McMahon docuseries on Netflix. I thought it was really well-made.

I don't get why people were mad at it. It was a documentary on Vince McMahon and his life with and in WWE. It wasn't a documentary on his allegations. It was never advertised as such. It delivered on what it promised to do: tell a story on probably the most influential figure in the history of professional wrestling. And it did.

People are going to hate because it's simply about Vince McMahon. Yeah, he did some weird ass shit and ultimately, he deserved to get booted for the allegations. But no one can deny what Vince McMahon did for professional wrestling. No one. And if you do, well, sorry, but you're in denial.

Canceling interviews for the show after the lawsuit doesn't look good for him. But that's exactly who he is. He fell off the face of the earth and will come back when the time comes to defend his name.

Overall, it was a fantastic documentary and most people I thought would be interviewed for it were there. I was surprised his longtime attorney Jerry McDevitt was not involved. He's probably the biggest "miss." I also half-expected Kevin Dunn, Brock Lesnar, Ric Flair, and Jim Ross to be in it.

But in any case, yeah, maybe there was nothing "new" in it for a hardcore wrestling fan, but there was some interesting footage and pretty accurate from my recollections.

Have you seen it? What are your thoughts? Join our convo at

LAST THREE-HOUR RAW ON USA NETWORK TONIGHT
- Tonight's Raw is the last three-hour broadcast on USA Network as the show changes to a two-hour format next week on October 7. The news of moving back to two hours was announced earlier this month and technically, next week kicks off a new temporary television deal for Raw on USA Network, with a three-month, $25 million deal. Raw is moving to Netflix in January 2025 and will go back to three hours once it moves. There are also rumors that Smackdown is changing to three hours as well, although those rumors have not been confirmed. Moving Smackdown to three hours will see an increase in its deal with NBCUniversal due to 52 hours of additional programming per year on Friday night. Scaling back Raw to two hours will also theoretically help its ratings as the third hour usually drags down the overall average. USA Network's The Anonymous will be taking the 10PM to 11PM time slot from next week. The show moved to a three-hour format in July 2012.

RAW PREVIEW
- The Bad Blood go-home episode of Raw takes place tonight from Ford Center Evansville in Evansville, Indiana, and the show is headlined by a last monster standing match. The biggest match on the card - literally - features Bronson Reed taking on Braun Strowman as weeks of build, carnage, broken walls, and everything in between culminates with this last monster standing machine. Other matches scheduled for tonight's show include Judgment Day vs LWO in a six-man tag team match, Xavier Woods vs Rey Mysterio, Kofi Kingston vs Chad Gable, Lyra Valkyria vs Zoey Stark, and CM Punk and Drew McIntyre will go head-to-head just days before their Hell In A Cell match. Plus, brand new Intercontinental champion Jey Uso makes his first appearance as champ.

ROYAL RUMBLE TICKETS OUT ON NOVEMBER 15
- WWE today announced that tickets for the 2025 Royal Rumble in Indianapolis, Indiana will go on sale to the general public on Friday, November 15 at Ticketmaster.com. A pre-sale will kick off two days earlier on Wednesday, November 13 at 10AM ET. Fans can register for presale access by visiting . Additionally, Royal Rumble Priority Pass ticket packages will soon be available from On Location, offering fans the chance to be ringside for every exhilarating moment including premium seating, pre-show hospitality with WWE Superstar appearances, ringside photo opportunities and more. To place a deposit or sign up for exclusive presale access, please visit . WWE and Indiana Sports Corp made an agreement earlier this year which will also see a two-night SummerSlam and a two-night WrestleMania all coming to Lucas Oil Stadium in the near future.

TATUM PAXLEY AND JAVIER BERNAL GET MARRIED
- NXT's Tatum Paxley and Javier Bernal got married over the weekend, becoming the latest WWE duo to tie the knot. This is the first marriage for Paxley, 27, and Bernal, 25, who both met each other at the WWE Performance Center. The ceremony was attended by several of their fellow NXT stars including the likes of Lexis King, Lash Legend, Nikkita Lyons, Jakara Jackson, Lola Vice, Brooks Jensen, Karmen Petrovic, and many others. Congratulations to the newlyweds!

LOGAN PAUL AND FIANCEE NINA AGDAL WELCOME FIRST CHILD
- Former WWE United States champion Logan Paul and his fiancee Nina Agdal announced the arrival of their first child, Esm¨¦ Agdal Paul, earlier today. Paul posted a few photos of the new arrival on his Instagram accounts, with Paul writing, "Esm¨¦ Agdal Paul has entered the chat." The part-time WWE Superstar has not appeared on television since his United States title loss to LA Knight at SummerSlam earlier last month. Paul and Agdal have been engaged for over a year now and announced that they were expecting their first child together in March.

TNA RESCHEDULES TV TAPINGS TO NASHVILLE
- TNA wrestling has rescheduled their Spartanburg Impact television tapings to Nashville, Tennessee, this coming Wednesday, October 2, and Thursday, October 3, with both events held at the Skyway Studios. All tickets for both shows are $10 each and all proceeds from both shows will be donated to the Hurricane Helene Relief Efforts in Spartanburg, South Carolina. The original shows were set for September 27 and 28 and were rescheduled twice before getting canceled due to the aftermath of the hurricane, which left people dead and millions without power in the area. TNA will have auctions at both shows for match-used and autographed memorabilia, plus unique collectibles for sale and all proceeds are also going to the relief fund. Fans will have the opportunity to donate additionally to the relief efforts at both shows. TNA officials have been in contact with members of the Spartanburg Police & Fire Departments, as members of both departments were scheduled to attend the TNA shows in Spartanburg.

SWERVE STRICKLAND CLARIFIES WWE'S ATTEMPT AT "CONTRACT TAMPERING"
- Two years ago, AEW President Tony Khan accused WWE of contract tempering, with Swerve Strickland's name being one of those WWE allegedly tried to get back after Triple H assumed power following Vince McMahon's resignation. But now, Strickland has seemingly cleared the air while appearing on the radio show Breakfast Club on Power 105.1 FM, saying that while WWE showed interest in him again, there was never any direct contact and the word "re-sign" was never used. "Yeah, it wasn't like the words 're-sign,'" Strickland said. "They 'asked about my availability.' They never contacted me. They contacted my representation," he clarified, saying that he's now at a stage where he can enjoy the fact he doesn't have to have that direct contact. "You can check my phone. It's never been there. I never had direct contact. I want to keep that little space. Communication has been reached out," Strickland continued. When the story came to light last year, Khan said the AEW's legal department issued a warning e-mail to Stephanie McMahon and Nick Khan, telling them not to do it again.

TONI STORM RETURNS TO STARDOM AFTER FIVE YEARS
- Toni Storm returned to Stardom for the first time in five years on Saturday at the Korakuen Hall in Tokyo, Japan, teaming up with Mina Shirakawa to take on IWGP Women¡¯s Champion Mayu Iwatani and AZM. Storm, portraying her AEW character, won the match after she pinned AZM following the Storm Zero finisher. The former AEW Women's champion is now going for the IWGP Women's title next week as she wrestles Iwatani at the Stardom Nagoya Golden Fight event on October 5. Storm wrestled for STARDOM for two years before she made her way to WWE. She is a former World of Stardom champion.

COLLISION PREVIEW
- Tonight's Collision is the first one from Arthur Ashe Stadium and carries the Grand Slam label. In prior years, AEW did Rampage: Grand Slam but the more important Collision took that title this year with two title matches on the card. Headlining the show will be AEW Continental champion Kazuchika Okada against Sammy Guevara in a championship eliminator match. The AEW Trios titles will be on the line as Claudio Castagnoli, Pac, and Wheeler Yuta defend against Private Party and Komander, Jack Perry has his TNT title open challenge, The Beast Mortos vs Hologram vs Dralistico in a three-way lucha libre match, Saraya takes on Jamie Hayter in a Saraya's Rules match, Chris Jericho, Big Bill, and Bryan Keith team up against The Conglomeration in a tornado trios match, and Jeff Jarrett battles Hangman Page in a lumberjack strap match. Collision will air in its regular time slot of 8PM ET on TNT.

SWERVE STRICKLAND SAYS AEW IS "ABOUT TO GET ON FOX"
- Swerve Strickland claimed in an interview on the Queenzflip YouTube channel that AEW is "about to get on FOX," becoming the first person from the company to acknowledge the rumors that have been floating around for the past several weeks. The new AEW media rights deal is not exclusive to just Warner Bros. Discovery and AEW shopped around other networks for a different show as well. Rumors started to float that the proposed show, tentatively titled Shockwave, was going on a FOX channel, although it's thought to be FS1 rather than the main FOX channel which Smackdown was on. "We¡¯re about to move," the former AEW World champion said. "We¡¯re about to get on FOX. Smackdown is leaving FOX, and then we¡¯re taking FOX, TNT, TBS... we got all three of them things." AEW filed paperwork to trademark the term AEW Shockwave on September 6 under the goods and services description of entertainment in the nature of wrestling contests, live professional wrestling, production of professional wrestling evens and production and distribution of ongoing TV programs in the field of professional wrestling.

20% OFF FOR WRESTLEDREAM TICKETS
- With ticket sales for WrestleDream hurting, AEW is now offering a 20% discount for the pay-per-view using the code WAR20 on Ticketmaster.com. The promo code will unlock mostly $25 tickets, plus taxes and fees, in the 100 Level seats. Ringside seats have also fallen in price, with the same promo showing $72 seats on the floor. The Tacoma Dome hosts 21,000 seats but AEW has configured the place to just over 7,000 capacity, with less than 5,500 tickets distributed so far according to @WrestleTix. The show might get a little boost now that the main event has been announced featuring Bryan Danielson vs Jon Moxley for the AEW World title.

AJ STYLES TO RETURN NEXT WEEK
- For the first time in three months, former WWE champion AJ Styles will be returning to Smackdown next week. Styles was last seen at Clash at the Castle in Glasgow, Scotland, in June, losing an I Quit match to Cody Rhodes and disappeared from television after that. He has been wrestling occasionally during his time away from television, appearing for Pro Wrestling NOAH in July for a match against Naomichi Marufuji and also appearing at several WWE non-televised live events. His current WWE contract is believed to be expiring at the end of 2024.

PEREZ VS GIULIA TO KICK OFF NXT ON CW
- The NXT on CW premiere next Tuesday will kick things off with the NXT Women's championship match featuring champion Roxanne Perez defending against Giulia. NXT moves to network television after five years on cable on USA Network and will start its new era with a show from the Allstate Arena in Rosemont, Illinois, a show which will also have the appearance of a few main roster stars including CM Punk. Punk will be the referee of the main event match between Ethan Page and Trick Williams for the NXT title. Tickets for the show are still available at Ticketmaster.com.

NIKKITA LYONS RETURNS TO THE RING
- NXT star Nikkita Lyons made her return to the ring last night at the NXT live event in Davenport, Florida. Lyons has been out since January of this year after tearing her ACL a month after she returned to the ring following another nine-month injury where she tore the ACL of the other knee. She was sporting two knee braces at the show last night, something that will probably be part of her in-ring wardrobe moving forward. The 25-year-old from Las Vegas was on a good roll before getting injured the first time around but before yesterday, she only managed to wrestle 10 times since January 6, 2023 due to her injuries.

WWE SHOWS IN SOUTH AND CENTRAL AMERICA MOVING TO YOUTUBE TILL NETFLIX DEAL
- WWE will be moving Raw and Smackdown to YouTube for all of South America and Central America starting with Friday, October 4 until the new Netflix deal kicks off in January 25. The upcoming Raw on September 30 will be the last-ever WWE show airing on ESPN in those regions as their TV deal is expiring. The only exception to this is the country of Mexico, where the shows will continue to air on FOX Sports for the rest of 2024 and then they also move to Netflix. WWE is not renewing their international television deals since Netflix will be taking over globally, except in the United States where only Raw will be on the streaming service. The rest of the world - where there is no TV deal in place or where a deal is expiring - will get Raw, Smackdown, NXT, and premium live events on Netflix.

TNA CANCELS TV TAPINGS IN SPARTANBURG, SOUTH CAROLINA
- After rescheduling their Impact television tapings twice, TNA Wrestling pulled the plug on the two shows due to Hurricane Helene. Spartanburg was in the path of the storm and five people have already died. Hurricane Helene left more than 1.2 million homes and businesses without power in South Carolina. "The safety and well-being of our TNA wrestlers, staff, crew and fans are top priority," TNA said in a statement. "TNA will provide an update on refunds for the Spartanburg shows, as well as an update on future/additional shows."

FENIX EXPECTED TO STAY IN AEW AFTER INJURY TIME ADDED TO CONTRACT
- While both Penta El Zero Miedo and Rey Fenix are on the way to WWE, Fenix will have to wait a little longer, actually, a lot longer to join his brother. Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer is reporting that even though both have refused new deals from AEW and Penta's contract is up really soon, the company has opted to extend Fenix's contract to make up for his extended period of time out injured. This is a common practice used both in WWE and AEW but it was thought that AEW President Tony Khan was going to let Fenix go without adding any extra time to his deal. Fenix was injured in October 2023 and was out of action for six months. After his return in April, he was slightly injured again and returned a month later. He has not wrestled since July 26 for CMLL and his last AEW match was on July 20. Penta's last AEW match came on July 17 but has been wrestling in Mexico lately.

DYNAMITE RATING
- The Dynamite: Grand Slam episode drew 702,000 viewers, up 15,000 viewers from last week's broadcast. The show had a 0.23 rating in 18-49, up 0.01 from last week and was #3 on the top 50 cable chart for the night. The show was down compared to last year's Grand Slam when it did 984,000 viewers and a 0.36 in 18-49. (Ratings credit: Programming Insider)

SARAYA SIGNS ONE-YEAR AEW DEAL
- Former AEW Women's champion Saraya has reportedly signed a new one-year deal with the company. The news was broken by Fightful Wrestling yesterday. While Saraya had an optional year in her original deal, Fightful says that this is something different and runs until September 2025. The British star has been working for AEW since September 2022, returning to the ring five years after getting medical clearance to resume her in-ring career. Prior to joining AEW, Saraya was part of WWE until July 2022, working under the name Paige. WWE doctors never cleared her due to her neck injury and was sidelined for years, just collecting a paycheck as WWE had nothing for her. Saraya will be wrestling Jaime Hayter in a Saraya's Rules match tomorrow night on Collision: Grand Slam.

MJF CAST IN NETFLIX MOVIE
- MJF has been cast in the Netflix movie Happy Gilmore 2, starring Adam Sandler. The exclusive story, published by Deadline, says that his role is still a secret and so is the plot of the movie. Julie Bowen and Christopher McDonald will return to the cast and Travis Kelce is expected to do a cameo. MJF made his acting debut in The Iron Claw and just recently finished filming the independent comedy The Floaters along with Seth Green and Aya Cash. The former AEW champion has been off television since All Out earlier this month and his last match was defeating Daniel Garcia.

SHAWN MICHAELS PROMISES "ONE OF THE BEST" NXT SHOWS FOR CW PREMIERE
- Speaking to the Chicago Tribune ahead of next week's NXT debut on The CW, Shawn Michaels promised one of the best shows the brand has ever produced. Tuesday's NXT will be live from the Allstate Arena in Rosemont in front of nearly 7,000 fans and will mark a new era for the brand as it transitions to network television from USA Network on cable. HBK said that they want to make a "big splash" on CW and teased some changes. "We¡¯ll have some big changes, but I think more of that will be from a look and physical standpoint. We will still be what NXT is, which is bringing some of the most talented, young, diverse athletes in all of the nation, and developing them into the WWE superstars of tomorrow," Michaels said. " The hunger, the passion that¡¯s always been the core value of NXT is always going to be there. But certainly we¡¯ll try to put on some pretty cool bells and whistles for the CW launch on October 1." Chicago's own CM Punk will be in the building as he was appointed the special guest referee for the main event match between champion Ethan Page and challenger Trick Williams. Michaels is looking forward to have Punk back, saying that every time he comes to visit, it's not only valuable from a TV standpoint, but also to the up-and-comers who are Superstars in training. "We have numerous fantastic legends and coaches here on NXT, but it is always fantastic when you have a current main roster WWE and global superstars like CM Punk come visit," Michaels said. "He has come down here on various occasions. He¡¯s been very supportive of NXT, the talent and the system that we have here."

MVP MAKES SURPRISE APPEARANCE ON DYNAMITE
- MVP made a surprise appearance at Dynamite: Grand Slam last night, trying to cook up some trouble between Prince Nana and Swerve Strickland. While Nana was giving an update on Swerve's condition, MVP walked out to rudely interrupt him, labeling Swerve as the most phenomenal and dangerous man in AEW. MVP blamed Swerve's loss on Prince Nana, telling him that he was more worried about his dancing rather than Strickland, a comment which Nana obviously didn't appreciate. The former manager of the Hurt Business then told Nana that when Strickland is up and ready to go again, he should give him a call because he's ready to talk "business." MVP left WWE last month along with Bobby Lashley, who is also expected to join AEW. MVP has also reportedly signed a deal with AEW.

DANIELSON VS MOXLEY TO MAIN EVENT WRESTLEDREAM
- The main event for WrestleDream was confirmed last night after Jon Moxley defeated Darby Allin in the main event to get the title shot Allin earned a few months ago. After the match ended, Danielson got his revenge on his former Blackpool Combat Club partners when he choked out Moxley with a tie. Claudio Castagnoli, Pac, and Marina Shafir then came out to help Mox and attack Danielson but Private Party and Komander came out to even the odds. Danielson had earlier in the broadcast defeated Nigel McGuinness to retain the AEW World title. Each title defense is like a retirement match for Danielson as he has previously stated that when he loses the title, he will retire from full-time active roster. WrestleDream will take place on Saturday, October 12.

AEW PPVS NO LONGER ON BLEACHER REPORT
- AEW pay-per-views will no longer be available on Bleacher Report in the United States and starting from next month's WrestleDream, AEW shows will be offered on Triller, YouTube, and PPV.COM. The announcement came last night during Dynamite after Tony Khan hinted earlier that the WBD-owned Bleacher Report is being closed down. Up until earlier this year, Bleacher Report was the only streaming outlet in the United States to offer AEW pay-per-views but AEW expanded their options in April, adding Triller, YouTube, and PPV.COM as partners. It's unclear what will happen to those pay-per-views which fans bought on Bleacher Report, although it was assumed that they will be migrated to another service.

CARDI B IN SUMMERSLAM 2025 AD
- Cardi B, one of the most successful female artists in music, is featured in the advert for SummerSlam in New Jersey. In the video released by Cardi B on her social media, she is seen calling Bianca Belair. "I got two words for you...SummerSlam," Cardi B says. "I'm pretty sure that's one word," Belair responds. "Met. Life," Cardi B continues as Belair tells her that she's listening. Her song 'Enough (Miami)' is then played, which looks like will be the official theme song for the event. It's her fifth single from her second studio album and was released in March of this year. You can see the ad at .

NXT RATING
- The last NXT on USA Network drew 620,000 viewers, down 57,000 viewers from last week's broadcast. The show had a 0.19 rating in 18-49, down 0.02 from the prior week and was #3 on the top 50 cable chart for the night and #9 in all of television. (Ratings credit: Programming Insider)

BIG E OPEN TO RETURN IF HE CAN DO IT SAFELY
- In an interview with the Sports Talk Philly website, former WWE champion Big E seemed more open to return to the ring more than ever before, of course, depending on the outcome of scans on his neck. In previous interviews, E shot down the idea of returning due to his injury, but now with stem cell therapy, he's hopeful that one day he can lace up his wrestling boots again. "I¡¯m just taking every day as it comes. I know that sounds like a cliche. But I get scans again in another three-to-six months, and if they look great and the doctors say it¡¯s healthy for me to go back, then that¡¯s something where we¡¯ll sit down and talk about it," Big E said when asked if he wants to return or officially retire. He said that he tries not to worry about things he cannot control, knowing that to return to the squared circle, a lot of things have to properly align. "But it¡¯s nice to know that if I get the opportunity to get back in the ring, and I can do it healthily, then let¡¯s do that," he continued. "Let¡¯s attack it fully. But if not, I know exactly what I want to do, and I¡¯m excited about that path, too." The full interview is at .

TNA PUSHES BACK TAPINGS BY ONE DAY DUE TO HURRICANE
- TNA Wrestling announced that the scheduled Impact television tapings set for tomorrow, September 27 and Saturday, September 28, have been moved by a day due to Hurricane Helene. The tapings are being held in Spartanburg, South Carolina at the Spartanburg Memorial Auditorium, which is in the path of the hurricane over the next two days. To avoid holding tapings during the hurricane, the first show will now be on Sunday, September 29 and the second show will be held on Monday, September 30. The exact start time for the shows will be announced on TNA's social media properties soon. Tickets for the Friday show can be used on Sunday and tickets for the Saturday show can be used on Monday.
