flamp versions on w1hkj.org vs. sourceforge.net 3
Hi all, I wanted to check my Windows versions of fldigi, flmsg, flamp, and flrig were current, and found that sourceforge.net and w1hkj.org have different versions of flamp - 2.2.13 on sourceforge, and 2.2.14 on w1hkj. I noted the difference a while ago (a month or so), and figured it was just a lag between the two sites. Is it a (minor) oversight, or is sourceforge.net being deprecated? Thanks for all you do! Fldigi rocks!! 73, Dan N3YQ

no RTTY output after changing PC
Hi, I got a new notebook and did a setup of WJST-X and WIN-Fldigi etc. Everything working fine with WJST-X. Listening CW, RTTY etc. with Fldigi is ok, too. Now the strange thing: When using RTTY, decoding is ok. When I use TUNE, the VOX goes active and there is a strong signal. I am using an old trx with VOX-control only. No CAT. Strange thing: There is no RTTY output. VOX does not get a signal. But with TUNE it gets. So the hardware should be ok. After comparing my old (working fine) setup with my new setup on the notebook, nothing looks different. As TUNING is perfectly ok, it could only be some setting ¡ whatever ¡ that is not ok??? My old notebook was a WIN 10. New one is WIN 11. For signal output there should not be a permission setting, as for the microphone input. (I managed this setting, working fine). Any idea, what the bug could be? I didn¡¯t find a hint in the group postings. 73 Mike | DL1MKP

Anyone able to get ICOM IC-707 Transmit working? 3
I am using Fldigi 4.2.06. I have Rig Control set for "Use Hamlib". For the Hamlib "Rig" setting I have "Icom IC-707 (Alpha)" selected. Other then the Hamlib "Device" and "Baud rate" settings, all other Hamlib settings are set to default. Screenshot of Hamlib settings attached. My issue is that I am unable to get fldigi to trigger the transceiver to actually transmit when transmitting in fldigi. Note that if I check the Hamlib "RTS/CTS flow control" setting then it DOES trigger the transceiver to actually transmit but is then stuck in transmit mode. Note that if I check the Hamlib "RTS +12" setting then it DOES trigger the transceiver to actually transmit but is then stuck in transmit mode. Note that fldigi DOES display the correct frequency from the transceiver and DOES update it when changed on the transceiver. Note that fldigi DOES display the correct mode from the transceiver and DOES update it when changed on the transceiver. Any guidance/thoughts appreciated. John

FLDIGI not decoding 4
Excuse me if this is a duplicate post. I just downloaded FLDIGI last Sunday and have been trying to get it to work with my Yaesu FT-991A. After a lot of frustration, I've almost got it right. However, last night was the first time I was able to see properly decoded messages, but I was unable to transmit. After speaking to a fellow ham, he suggested I turn up the volume on my computer. This morning, I turned everything on, turned up my volume and I was able to transmit. BUT...now I can't get anything to decode at all. I am in BPSK31 mode. Something between shutting it down last night and turning it all on this morning a setting changed. Can anyone help me get this working? I am so close! Viki

OFDM750F issue 8
When selecting Mode OFDM750F I get a non-stop run of text characters across the screen that do not stop unless I select a different mode (such as OFDM500F or OFDM3500). Why is this and is there a way to make it stop? Thanks. -Randy, W4IFI

FLDIGI with FT-991A for CW
Hello, My goal is to set up my FT-99!a to decode CW and send with a straight key. I am running FLDIGI ver. 4.2.05 with FLRIG 2.2.05. Rig control seems to be operating correctly. Right now, I can hear CW on the radio, but FLDIGI is not decoding anything. Is there anyone out there running a FT-991A with FLDIGI that can share the proper menu settings with me? Thanks!

Call being worked Lookup between Fldigi and Log4OM2 3
I am trying to find out how to have a call sign entered in Fldigi get looked up in Log4OM2 so as to see if it was worked before. I have been unsuccessful in finding any information. When Fldigi is connected with the bridge to DX Labs, any call sign entered in Fldigi is immediately looked up in Pathfinder, DxView and Dx Keeper. When Fldigi is connected to N3FJP [ACLOG] any call sign entered in Fldigi is immediately looked up in ACLOG. Does anyone have any idea what that connection is? I would like to replicate it in Log4OM2 so I can have the call information, Thank you in advance for any ideas. 73 Bill w1wrh

Strange problem FLDIGI 5
Strange problem, I have re-equipped my computer with fldigi, but now a strange problem occurs, when I start transmitting my fldigi screen disappears and it stays on transmitting. I have never had this before, other programs work just fine like HRD, WJSTX and some others. It worked but after a new installation this occurs.. Who can give me the solution. FLRig Power meter
An excellent day for everyone. I kindly ask you to see the attached images. The indicated Power~encia of 20 W in the FLRig is ok and is the same in the Radio - TS-990, but the bargraph sampling is very different. using a 50W scale mosytra a much higher avlor, showing the 200W scale shows the image shows a lower value, but I repeat the 20W value we see in the FLRig is right with the indication that is on the radio. Can you help me to try to solve the situation? Thank you very much.

FlRig + Kenwood TS-990
Colleagues I would like to receive from you some feedback on FLRig + TS990. 1- I can't get an indication of the SWR value, even though it's a value that is purposely high due to antenna change . 2 - I can only have the PWR power reading if I click on the PTT button on the FLRIg itself, because if you do it on the ptt of the radio there is no indication. I understand, but I think that by clicking on FLRIG to do PTT, the results should be the same as if I did it only on the radio. If there were a possibility of the reading appearing regardless of where the command to put the radio in TX may come from, it would be very good, what do you think? 3 - I'm sorry that using my radio some "Extra Tabs" don't appear, I just have: "Misc" + "A" + "B" + "C". I'm sorry to miss the Bands Tab and others. Couldn't this situation also be contemplated in the TS 990 at leaast those more usual? I apologize for any inconvenience on my part with this request, at the same time if any colleague using FLRig + TS-990 has overcome this difficulty, I would like to comment. Thank you for your attention FLrig Version is : 2.0.05.93 Windows 11 Pro 64 bit VSPE 73 de ct1bxx, Manuel Fernando

Reset my FT450D now I cannot connect via FLRIG 3
I must have a setting off in my FT 450D. I have used it for years but my FT 450D has been acting strange so I did a hard reset and cannot seem to connect to FLRig or FLDIGI after the reset. I have the cat in the radio set to 9600 and also in FLRIG and the port is set to 7 as usual but no connection. Can someone remind me of the settings that need to be set in the FT 450D to get it back up and running. I have forgotten something. 73 Thank W9KJO

Support for ICOM ID-5100 2 #fldigi #flrig
Hi: [Thought i had posted this last night but did not see it.] Thank you for everyone's work and help for fldigi/flrig. Is it is possible to add CAT/CI-V support for Icom ID-5100 - it seems it is not supported yet. I am looking to help and here is what i tried so far: Selecting IC-7100 in flrig (and setting ID-5100 CI-V address to 88h) allows some functionality of ID-5100 to work. IC-7100 was selected since it was introduced about the same time and has a "nearby" CI-V address (ID-5100: 8Ch ; IC-7100: 88h)(Icom seems to increment the address with each new radio introduced) It seems that while there are some common Icom commands, there is a lot of difference between models commands. Works on ID-5100 in flrig examples: - change frequency (command 05) - controlling Squelch (SQL ) - SMETER (command 15 02) - PTT (ID-5100 command 22 02 yet IC-7100 command is 1C 00) Does not work on ID-5100 examples: - selecting/switching between A and B : ID-5100 SelectA: 07 D0, SelectB: 07 D1, while IC-7100 uses SelectA: 07 00, SelectB: 07 01 - PWRMETER (both supposedly have same command: 15 11) Is it better to try and make/adapt an XML file https://sourceforge.net/projects/fldigi/files/xmls/icom/ or to create a CXX file in the build? (did not see example of Select/VFO in XML files) Any suggested would be helpful. 73, kiwin

Support for ICOM ID-5100
Hi: Thank you for everyone's volunteer work for flrig/fldigi. Have been looking for CAT/CI-V support of the ICOM ID-5100 - it does not seem to be directly supported yet in flrig/fldigi - wondering how I can help or suggestions? . Investigation so far: flrig using ID-7100 (and changing the ID-5100's CI-V Address to 88h) allows some functionality. (The ID-7100 seemed to be similar generation since it is 88h while ID-5100 is 8Ch). (the CI-V addresses seem to increment when each new model is introduces) The available CI-V command numbers seem to vary quite a bit per Icom radio model. Some of the commands appear to be the same between ID-5100 and IC-7100: Works for ID-5100: SMETER (15 02) and it displays correctly in flrig PWRLEVEL (14 0A) sets and reads correctly SETFREQ SQL (14 03) Yet others do Not work for ID-5100: PWRMETER (15 11) seems to be same command, but the the power meter graph does not display anything. A/B switching control ID-5100: 07 D0 and 07 D1 versus ID-7100: 07 00 and 07 01 Is it better to start modifying an XML file? https://sourceforge.net/projects/fldigi/files/xmls/icom/ (VFO A/B not in the IC-7100 XML file) or does one really need to dive into a rig CXX source file? (SelectA, SelectB) Appreciate any suggestions. thanks, kiwin

FLRIG and ftdx10 4
Hi, I wonder if there is something in flrig that when you change bands via set vfo that flrig sends the state of tuner on or off to the next band? Is this by intention or lack of some feature? I can change the bands manually via the radio controls and radio recalls the last known state for band instead. But when I do this in FLRIG it sets tune on. This is Rev 2.0.05. Can this be fixed so it recalls what is set in the radio per band? 73 N9SEO

PTT with CAT - FT847 5
Can one use CAT for PTT when using digital modes and using the Data In Out port for audio with the FT847? Asking for a friend; I don't have an 847 to test. ( This won't work with a Kenwood. ) Thanks; Bob VE3YX
