Re: Using "PTT via <TXRIG> and <RXRIG>" with N3FJP applications

Mike Black

In FLDigi's N3FJP setup do you have "PTT via <RIGTX> and <RIGRX> checked?

I have a TS-590A here and it works just fine.? I see the RIGTX and RIGRX commands in FLDigi's data stream.

SEND:
<CMD><RIGTX></CMD>
SEND:
<CMD><PROGRAM></CMD>
RCVD:
<CMD><PROGRAMRESPONSE><PGM>N3FJP's Amateur Contact Log</PGM><VER>7.0.10</VER><APIVER>2.1</APIVER></CMD><crlf>

It could be that RSID is set only to detect RSID signals only between the dotted lines a not the entire waterfall bandwidth. As a result you may have noticed RSID wasn’t triggering as often.?
?
If you right hand click the RSID button at the top right of Fldigi, an option to toggle the behaviour will appear and with that, the extra cursors removed. At the same time the color of the RSID button will change between green and red depending on your selection.?

I hope that helps!

One little minor change I would like to change. my cursor over the incoming signal has 2 dotted lines every next the the signal on the waterfall. How do I get rid of the lines?

Thanks Dave

Perhaps the UI setting shown in the message linked below will allow you to revert it. On mine, the default was “gtk +”

Changing Themes #fldigi-parameters

How do I revert back to the light theme for FLDIGI. It's set as a silver style scheme at the moment.
I have looked in some earlier posts about theme's but can't find a way back to the original theme.
Any help would be appreciated.

Re: Not able to copy? #fldigi-parameters

In case the "Windows snipping tool" is new to you, here's the deal:

Hold down little "windows?black box [between Fn and Alt keys]. While it's down, also press the SHIFT and the S keys simultaneously. That action will cause the screen to go partly dark, but will expose a little red cross. Once the little red cross appears, you can release the three keys you lend down.

Now, if you press the left-button down on the mouse, you can drag the little?red cross around?and down, to outline the area of the desktop window that you want to grab. You can make the little rectangle any size you need. Once you have the area of interest framed, release the left moist?button.

That portion of the window is now available to be pasted wherever?you want. The easiest?
PASTE command?ins CTRL+V.? [Note: The image gets stored into the?"Clipboard" in Windows... [find that directory on your own.]

This screen-image tool has other options, but just what I have told you here does most of what you want.?

Here are a couple of examples, that I have done out of this email itself:
TINY LITTLE FRAGMENT OF THE SCREEN:

Here's a bigger one, done same way:
