My manual states that it is for Jeep Universal 4-Wheel Drive CJ-3B CJ-5A CJ-5 CJ-6 & CJ-6A as well as 2-Wheel Drive DJ-5 & DJ-6. The manual number appears to be SM-1046.

All the ads from the time had the wagons painted in this way. It's not painted woodgrain, its just a color scheme that from a distance would "appear" to be just like any actual "woody" station wagon
