Re: Thinking about NDT's
Driving my '3A, equipped with NDT tires, on slick roads is an "adventure".? When I installed the Detroit Locker (rear axle) and Dana Powr-Lok (front axle), the adventure changed to an "epic saga".?

Re: Thinking about NDT's
Try reviewing the early CJ sales brochures. They show an odd directional "V" style tread as well as the military NDT type. Here's a 1949 brochure that covered the 2A and?and the 3A.

Re: Thinking about NDT's
I bought these NDT tires for my 43 Willys MB. I don¡¯t know where they are made. (I read somewhere that they are not actually made by Firestone.)

Thinking about NDT's
I have a very original ¡¯47 CJ2A with some decent radial P235/75 R15 tires that get me around town just fine. I have been thinking about getting a second set of NDT tires and original steel wheels

Re: Just bsing
That looks like a real "almost in a barn" find. I've been driving my 51
pickup several times a week and enjoying it.
Interesting comment about diesel - I put a VW TDI in my pickup several
years ago.

Re: "Willys" Stamped rear bumper center piece needed
I had the same on a 54' wagon 4x4, but had a 283 chevy motor. New parts had failed twice, so I went to a spicer conversion front and rear. Never got stuck again, This back in late 90's, don't know

Re: "Willys" Stamped rear bumper center piece needed
Marc,
I hope this turns out well for you¡ they must have sanded off quite a bit of material to cause the Willys impression to fade away. Hopefully your bumper isn¡¯t paper thin in that spot!

Hi Pavel.
Many thanks for that... Yea, the second one you show 'off vehicle' is exactly like mine.

Re: "Willys" Stamped rear bumper center piece needed
Marc,
I searched for a really nice example of the Willys rear bumper for years. The only luck achieved was an OEM piece that was supposed to come from a Jeepster... it had no Willys imprint however
