Ted, if memory serves, when I was tapping into the Willys sender body, I got overly enthusiastic and went in too far.? Then the smaller sensor "bottomed out" before the threads were tight enough...

I think that it would be easier to use a 1/4" npt to 1/8" npt reducer. Also being pipe threads the cooper washer might not be needed.? Just my thoughts and I will give it a try when I change my

I contacted the EV West people (California) a few years back.? They sent a list of the components they think would do the job (no labour cost included of course)... it came to $15k including 30 kWh

Yes, the input hose from the engine has plenty of vacuum to the finger test - should have marked the three hoses better.? Have to button it up today just enough for the yearly end of summer drive
