F/S Echo link cable from RC 210 controller
Good evening, as I go through and upgrade my repeater system, I have a NOMIC sound card interface from West Mountain radio and the cable going from the RC 210 computer controller to that interface

Re: Astron RM-50M conversion
Only if the charger/battery combination are higher voltage than the power supply output, assuming equal voltage drop across the diode block. As long as the power supply voltage is higher, the battery

Re: Need help on the Quantar test microphone
Mike, that hand mic was also used with the HT-90 and HT-440 Converta-Coms and although I don't have those service manuals anymore I do recall seeing the mic schematic in one of them as well as in

Need help on the Quantar test microphone
I received an email this morning from a Civil Air Patrol group. They have a Quantar and discovered that the test microphone jack on the front? of a Quantar is a 6 pin! RJ11?/?RJ-12?/?RJ-14 style

Re: Astron RM-50M conversion
It should also be noted that a lot of "smart" chargers are not nearly as smart as they claim... and in particular, are just voltage setpoints and timers... where the current limit is just the same

Re: Astron RM-50M conversion
I've gotten several direct messages about this, so let me go into some more detail about what happens when you use a "smart" AGM charger, an AGM battery, and a DC-powered repeater system powered off

Motorola SLR5700 DMR Repeater
My Motorola SLR5700 repeater goes into transmit every minute and does a 5 second data burst. Here are the settings I have in my repeater, I never recall having this problem in the past. Are my

Great PowerPoint presentation John! I put my multiple complaints in and reported it to those keeping score. When I searched the FCC database, I noticed that Chaos was also granted tests on several

Re: PD526 Duplexer Tuning
It will have the opposite effect.? To get more dynamic range you would really need an amplifier or a way to drive in more signal.? The pads are just to match the impedance as the output/input

Re: Astron RM-50M conversion
The battery-specific charger still sees the load (albeit via a voltage drop from the diode). Unless you do the "isolate battery via relay except when power is out" approach that others have suggested,

Re: PD526 Duplexer Tuning
Will a pad give the nanovna more of a dynamic range to see the notch depth? Iirc the dynamic range of a standard nvna is about 60 to 80db. So if I put a 10 or 15db pad that should help with tuning
