Turn off the processor. Some older radios have one mic gain as a knob adjustment. The level for SSB is different than FM. A cheap SDR watching the audio spectrum and zoom in on RF spectrum can assist

I did, they told me to go online, I found the driver section, but everything was great out and not available to click on. Plus, they didn't think they would work with Windows XP. Chad Nelson

Even in Flat audio mode, the TX side begins to hard rolloff at about 2600 hz. At 3000 you're down 3db and it drops quickly from there. No external filters are needed. It's flat from 20-2600. Andy WJ9J

Yes, reduce the notch depth of the 144.61 c2037. ?If you do want to tx on the 144.39, then you will need at least 2 Q cans on the 144.39 equipment side and 3 Q cans on the 144.61 to notch out each

The flat IOs are for data use....to use the tx flat input for voice, it needs to be limited and filtered externally to prevent overshoot of deviation and bandwidth on squelch noise / noisy signals. I
