The NHRC 2 Controller works real well..
It is easy to operate and assemble (if u get the partials kit)
u can record a sound etc. to use as your courteous beep.
it is pretty small in size . I have one

GE Master Exec II UHF
Have a GE MASTER EXEC. II UHF MOBILE that has been converted to
repeater operation and installed is a com-spec ts-64
i having problems with it staying in the open state .
it is allowing all traffic

The thing to remember is that when tuning with a MFJ 259B antenna analyzer,
the power used in tuning is very low a few milliwats, this gives a better tune
than when say 10 watts or more is

You can't just tune a Johnson radio.
Parts must be replaced.
It is a bit of work, but well worth it.
I repair Johnson radios / repeaters for a living.
