I have successfully converted 4 mitrek mobiles to repeater service.
have found the following bits and pieces that may be useful.
1) Check out the seits web site at:
http:\\www.seits.org
2) add the following info from several other posts
Don't forget to clip/remove cr-1 from the xmitter side of the radio, or ,
in some cases, when the radio keys up, the receiver will go dead.
