Re: antennas
I have had very good luck with a folded dipole for 6 meters.
I have tried a Diamond (works good but doesn't seem to hold up
in high wind conditions).

Re: Antenna suggestions?
Hi Phil:
Whatever info you have would be appreciated. One of the
tech's in our club said he may have either one dipole,
or a 212-2 (or equivalent). May take a couple days for
him to go through his

Hi Bradley:
Not knowing what to expect out of a 6 meter repeater, I think
it's working ok, just thought I'd get some other input for
antennas. Mobiles are working the repeater from about 35 to

Re: Decibel Products DB-224s on sale
What frequency was the DB-224 for? I priced with Janine and it is
DB 224-E $ 430.30 each
DB 228-E $ 1,101.75 each
She said the price varied depending on frequency.

Re: Antenna suggestions?
Hi Tedd, the DB212-2 is two folded dipoles and takes up
about 30 to 35 feet of space vertically, don't remember the
exact spacing, although I can find it if you need it. A
harness is easy to make for

Re: Antenna suggestions?
Hi there
There may be some other factor playing around with your set-up.Look at
your whole set-up from beginning.Too many Hams want greater insertion
loss ie lowest VSWR.Good SWR does'nt mean your

Re: Antenna suggestions?
Hi Phil:
Without checking, I presume the 212-2 is a dual folded
dipole arrangement? How much vertical space do you need?
I found the V-2000 to be a marginal base antenna as the
bandwidth was so

Antenna suggestions?
Could anyone recommend a good vertical to use on a 6 meter
repeater?
So far, I've tried:
- Db-201 ground plane. Not bad performance, but a real hassle
getting the SWR down on a crowded site.

Looking for Joel Paster, AB6BX
Hi All,
I was doing a search on the web a while back on 1.2GHz repeaters and
came across a group in Southern Cal. that had built a number of these
1.2GHz repeater systems.
While anyway, I grabbed the

Re: TM-733 info
Thanks Kevin!
I've replaced a number of these, and find that the S-AV7
works as a replacement. Output is only about 25 to 30 watts
but is less than half price of the S-AV17. Most people
