I've replaced a number of these, and find that the S-AV7
works as a replacement. Output is only about 25 to 30 watts
but is less than half price of the S-AV17. Most people
can't notice the 3 db loss in performance.
Just FYI....the S-AV17 is almost $150 CDN up here, and the
S-AV7 is about $65 (both from Kenwood).
