". I bought this garratt a few years ago at York MR Exhibition,?a project that had been started but badly assembled."

I got one a similar way on eBay (doing anything with it is still some ways off, I might add ...).

It seems a lot never got built or at least never got finished.

Mind you my squirrel cupboard also has one on those rare (only 50 made) L & B kits that was recently mentioned here or in one of the mags!

Good luck with completing your build, let us know of any other issues you run into.

Gary

Hi John, Many thanks for info, . I must admit I'd thought it must have been something easy like that but was unsure whether there was another way I hadn't?thought of. I bought this garratt a few years ago at York MR Exhibition,?a project that had been started but badly assembled. I stripped it all down and started again. boiler and cab almost complete. so onto the chassis. this eventually will have DCC sound??The valvegear will be a separate sub assembly. I'll keep you updated on my progress, hopefully finished sometime next?year
Many thanks for your help

Kind Regards
Richard
