Ed, What you are describing does work. Make sure that the Layout Editor "Tools -> Check" menu items have no entries. Make sure that there are no warning or error messages in the system

Mario, On the AIU it happens that the dip switch gets put in upside down and that on vs off is confused. Presuming the firmware was not the original, you can use 7-10 for the AIU board. First

Mario, What id is the USB set for and what other cabs are connected? Do you see all of those in the Show Cabs? You are likely on a current version due to when you had it repaired. -Ken
