It sounds like have an error either in the store process or the load process. ?
Upload the messages.log file to the group's ProblemsBeingWorkedOn file folder. ?You might also upload the layout xml file.

After making some changes to my panel using Layout Editor, including some SML, I save, close, start and open the panel. But different than the past, I find that I have to use the Discover command to re-establish SML for about a dozen of the same signal masts every time I open the panel.? Why is that? It is only on two-headed signals (but not all of them on the panel), and not on any single-head masts.?
I use JMRI 5.2; Java 11.0.17 on a PC with Windows 10.? I use Digitrax BXP88 (10) and SE8c (8) for detection and turnout control, respectively.??
