I have updated the File
Ive created 3 Sections and One transits for testing.

Q.When i come to Run the train Auto there is a Box that says "is train in transit"not sure if thats asking if the train is in the position it should be?The reason i ask is under that there is a drop tab,if i dont tick the above option there is a block saying 2-2,if i do it changes to 1 (the first section of the transit).Thats confusing question i know say ignore if irrelevant.

If you disable "allow local moves" then all local moves for that train are disabled.? You need both, local moves allow in the train's route, and the "allow local moves" for the train.? This allows you to share the same route for trains that perform local moves, and one's that do not.

Re: Different warnings using the dispatcher.

You are changing speed or stopping using speed profile and it failed to compute a stopping plan.
This is normally cuased by a too greater change in a short period or distance, or the converse where you are making a tiny? change in speed over a long distance or time or a speed profile that makes no sense (a sawtooth curve) .
SSL can cause radical speed changes over short distances as it wants signals at every block change and finish up going from gren to caustion to stop a few inch.
Check the shape of the speed profile, try keeping speeds low. If using 14 or 28speed steps try using 128.
I am actively working on the small change over? relativly long periods.

I would describe myself as a beginner when it comes to JRMI,been working on it around a week
The end goal is to automate a train.
As you see above i have entered Turnouts sensors and Signal Heads.I used SSL and i admit it was messy,so maybe thats come back to haunt me,but when i run a train Manually it seems to run nicely.Above you see a Train occupied in Platform 1.
Does it look okay?
So to the problem.I created a simple transit,using 3 sections Platform 1 to? a Turnout Block to A Mainline(left to right.
Everything looks good until i create a train in Dispatcher,as soon as i do the Dispatcher tells me the train is "waiting"and nothing happens
I have noticed the Green Lamp you see on Platform turns from Green to Red as soon as i run dispatcher,so its saying ahead is occupied but where.
Can anyone advise or ask me Questions to help solve

This is a graphical bug in JAVA (or maybe some sources of java), when running of Windows, for some Windows display settings, with some JMRI panel "Label" font settings_in my experience_. It is no, not in my experience from a JMRI problem, though! If you change the Windows display "scaling" setting to 100%, JMRI doesn't have a problem (on my machine). But with the Windows display "scaling" setting at 150% or 200%, I have problems with the "elipses" (i.e. "Partial-label ...") showing up. The best way I have found to "solve" this, for various fonts and various font sizes is to change the "Fixed Width" to be a little bit larger than the number of pixels that are required to display the text. In "Panel Editor", I add the Label, then right-click the Label and select "Edit Text Content & Settings". Then I increase the "Fixed Width" setting until the full text shows up in the "Preview" window, without the elipsis. And then update the panel. And repeat on any other Label on the panel that has an elipsis. In "Layout Editor", I "right-click" aLabel with elipsis. Then select "Margin" then "Set Margin Size". Type in a margin and click "OK". If that doesn't work, increase the margin again and check. Repeat until you have the size "right". And repeat on any other Label on the panel that has an elipsis. I do not use "Control Panel Editor", so cannot give recommendations with that tool.

Sure enough, I'd left the 'SUBSYSTEM=="tty"' out of my udev rule, so perhaps that's why it was creating a link to the usb bus device rather than the tty device.? Working fine now.? Thanks Dave & Trevor for the help with this.

on the PH5 may be the problem.? Based on the reporting of 7.3.0

The NCE USB device gives an id of 7.3.0 -> 7.3.7 depending on the jumper settings. If it was an older NCE USB, it gave 6.3.0 -> 6.3.7. The idea was the device made different ids for the software (JMRI) to recognize and help refine what command are supported or not. ? The PH5 command station gives an id of 8.0.0 -> and up, depending on the firmware updates. ? -Ken Cameron, Member JMRI Dev Team
