Every time a new version is released, the various anti malware and anti virus programs think it is contaminated. Hundreds of posts in this forum to that effect. You need to first make sure you are downloading the files from ? then temporarily disable or tell your virus program to ignore the warning about the program. After enough users download it, it gets added to the various programs safe list.

The easiest way to locate your user files is to click on help within JMRI and then click on Locations.

Worked, but I also added heat sinks and fan, a Pi3 case kit no longer available at my local Micro Center.

As far as the fix... I don't know if that's included in the large update I saw last week checking the two display issues that appeared here.

The tests have shown that it's not simply a baud rate issue. Make sure the baud rate is back to 19200 to match the jumpers.

Did you notice any LED activity (either one) during the tests? Please report anything you see.

The next test sounds bizarre, but will help diagnose the next likely problem - lack of 12V power to the microprocessor.

- Disconnect the NCE USB from its cab bus cable.
- Power up the DCC system and ensure the Power Cab is illuminated (working).
- Unplug the Power Cab from the end of its flat cable and put the Power Cab away (on the bench, in a drawer...).
- Plug the NCE USB into the floating end of the flat cable. We know that cable had 12V power a few seconds before (otherwise the Power Cab wouldn't have Illuminated).
- Start JMRI and send us the log. We should see a version report. Don't try anything else or the NCE USB will lock up - Cab Bus LED will stick on.
- Observe and report any LED activity at any stage.
- If you don't see any version report (it should be V7.3.7 with a V7 USB with all jumpers on), you could try the other baud rate...

Table attributes are stored in the user-interface.xml file, not a panel xml file.

Find the node identity line near the beginning of the system log:

Go to your profile/<nodeid> directory. ?With JMRI shutdown, edit user-interface.xml using a xml aware editor.

Search for dividerLocation and remove the property section.

? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? <value class="java.lang.Integer">40</value>

Save your changes and start JMRI. ?The table divider will now be based on the width of the text in the left column. ?You can also just change the value to something that works for you.

Attempting to change the width with JMRI running will result in a small left column again.

Hi guys, hope you can help here..

Test setup using a DCS51, Zephyr x, with locobuffer USB.? Using a single turnout to test on a breadboard.? Without a connection to the Pi except as providing power to the Arduino the Zephyr is able to actuate the turnout servo from an initial power on situation using switch t/c buttons. After hooking up the Pi and starting panel pro in autodetect mode (finds the hardware fine) I cannot throw the switch using the panels created.? I have created both internal and loconet turnouts and connected both to the switch on the panel (one at a time) but the switch does not operate.? At this point I cannot throw the turnout from the Zephyr any more.? I have to repower the Zephyr and disconnect the loconet usb to regain control.

The last time I used my laptop using windows 7 it all worked fine.?

It appears to me there is some issues with the Pi and Loconet and Zephyr I cannot get a handle on.

Being that this explanation is as clear as mud, I hope someone has some pointers try.
Thanks Don
