Yes Jerry I use a great guy in South Dakota. He worked on my 817, Kenwood 2000, and Kenwood 450SAT. He does not take credit cards but the best thing is he will not charge you until you get the radio.

is there someone outhere who i could send my radio to so i can have it repaired? as i had it hooked up to a 2 meter amp and something wierd happened and it was backfeed with rf somehow and burned

If you have not done so yet I would highly recommend just going with the windcamp battery. I’m not sure what you are running but the windcamp has been excellent for me. Works great for my POTA

Ok Martin the battery is a 8 cell 2000mAH. Size is 4 inches x 2 1/2 inches. Takes up the entire compartment. No way will the Wind camp panel I ordered will fit.
