Re: Advice on selling
Thanks everyone for your advice. I will do as K6AEF suggested and advertise the radio and filters together in the first instance.

Is the split off? Shift works for FM only.

Re: Advice on selling
I would suggest putting the rig up for a fair price which includes the filters in the sale. Likely someone will be very excited to purchase the rig with those filters.
If someone wanted to buy the

Re: Advice on selling
It may make it easier to sell and to get a bit more for it. What would you
do with them if you pulled them out??? Sell them? Use them?

Re: I cannot turn off repeater shift mode on ten meters while in usb mode
Hi Mike,
That doesn't sound like a repeater shift problem as repeater shift is only
operational on FM.

Re: Advice on selling
For a CW filter one can get as much as $200, about half what one can get for a used FT817.? But having the filter in the rig will make it sell quicker and for more.
I have the Collins 500 Hz filter

Ron,
I second your thoughts about butane powered soldering sets, especially Weller. Have used one for years in my travel and repair kits.
