I have a flex branded Nilfisk extractor and find the ergonomics of the festool ct26 more comfortable. The auto clean on the flex doesn¡¯t work great and clogs easily so bags are the way to go with

PK, Not sure what is wrong with the CT33, but from the spec they should be really close to the CT Midi in respect to performance. CT midi - 130 cfm at 96¡± static water lift CT33 - 134 cfm at 90¡±

PK: Have you examined the used CT33 for cracks on the external housing? I have 4 x Festool vacs, 26, 33, 33, and 48, and my oldest is approaching 15 years. One of my CT33s has cracked all the way

One of the guides to aligning the jointer talks about closing a piece of tissue paper between the temple bolt to assure that they all are in proper tension. You might check that out.
