Re: 2002 DS knee bolster removal ignition switch

back in there. So the 13mm NUTS I took off the bottom of the bolster didn't
have to be removed? Guess I'll find out.

As always, Duane¡¯s photos and info are a true great resource and hidden key - the third bolt (right back inside) takes serious contortions to get to keeping in mind it goes into the bolster

Re: 2002 DS knee bolster removal ignition switch
That's all it takes.? I originally made that file.? The 'secret' is to remove the cover on the end to see 2 of the bolts.? The 3rd is under the bolster on the back side.

Re: 2002 DS knee bolster removal ignition switch
Thanks Duane. Those are two good files that cover the switch replacement.
At the bolster removal one just says to remove it with no info on how and
the other says to remove some 13mm bolts. I'm trying

Re: Serpentine belt tension pulley wrench
On the AES/AXK engines, it's an M8 all thread bolt and needs to be at least 2 inches long.? I bought a bag of M8x75mm at Fastenal years ago and give them away as needed.? I originally bought 40mm

Re: Serpentine belt tension pulley wrench
A couple months back when I replaced the belts on my 1995 EVC, I used a prybar to release the tension on the top pulley to remove the serpentine belt. This is write up on TheSamba.com I posted on that

Re: Serpentine belt tension pulley wrench
George
It would be helpful if we knew what Eurovan, year, model you have.
To get slack in the serpentine belt, you have to screw in a M8x1.25 inch (can be longer) bolt into the tensioner.
That's for

Re: 95 Eurovan furnace
Thanks Mark. I did wonder about this option. I might see if I can have a look. I'm guessing to access the furnace you need to remove a lot of plastic panels.
