The privacy settings poll I mentioned. Should we retain the group settings such that messages are publicly viewable? or should we change it such that messages are viewable only to members? You know what to do.

I've been seeing occasional requests from a 3rd party site come in, which is currently moderated. The content seems to be somewhat EV related, but for the most part its lacking any real information sent to this list. It appears to be intending to drive traffic to their own site (in another country at that.) ??It's like web-marketing 101. In the past, some of the messages have crossed the line into what I considered "spam" and I have moved the submitted to moderated-status. Others have been more benign - but it's obvious (to me at least) that their intent is to drive traffic to their own ad-supported web site. I've approved a few of them, but not as many lately - because frankly the information content isn't there. Even when I've looked at the site. I'm leaning toward just permanently blocking just to reduce the hassle, but figured i'd give people a chance to weigh in. So the question I put forth here is : do you care? do you want me to allow such content to be posted?
