Not all VW and Audi are the same. Many Audi are 17mm, not 19mm and that means a different size ball too. The ball must match the socket, especially on alloys. The length must be correct too. Don't

also, if the dealer is brain dead about the key, if you give them the vin #, they can order you a new pre cut key to fit the van. this will be just the top part, then they have to order the bottom

Steve, the lug nuts are the same for the '01 - steel wheels and alloys. i also used the same when i went 18's from a Saab. if they fit they'll be fine. VW / Audi should be the same, and yes, both 19mm
