I have a problem with my 2000 EVC left tires wearing faster than the

The tires wear more when on the left rear. I am running Michelin
Aglisis and have 35k miles and need new tires. Dealer has no
explanation, Any ideas????
The suggestions others made about alignment and driving style are of
course the first things to check. But here's another possibility.

The 2002 MV I just bought has Dunlop "SP Winter Sport M2" M+S tires,
size 205/60R16C. They have a prominent arrow (about 2" long) that says
"Direction of Rotation". Why do they have a preferred direction of
rotation? And would they wear out faster if rotated backwards?
