Your problem may be as simple as changing the catalic converter. So you are
cruising down, with 70, then a broken piece clogs the exhaust in you
muffler, and then when you turn your engine off everything returns to
normal. Is that it?
I had something like that before. The catalic converter sometimes breaks in
little pieces, and clogs the muffler. One way to know that your exhaust is
clogged is that your RPM drops down much slower than it did before from
5-6000 to 1000

Russ,
Can you post what the temp gauge indicates before and after you
experience the power loss? I'm guessing here, but it sounds like as
the EV warms up, you're losing the benefit of the enrichment injector
so you fault may be in the fuel injection system - the normal
operating mode has a problem somewhere.

Here is a problem I have. My Ev with 88K miles
suddenly loses most of it power after being driven for
10 miles. No warnings lights come. I can be cruising
at 70 mph and something happens so I can't go faster
than 50.
Do you have any ideas?
By the way, I have Goodyear Regattas on the van. My
complaint is the tire model only rated for 1,400 lbs
instead of 1,519 for the G64.
Thanks,
