Re: Kindle on SensePlayer
开云体育I installed eSpeak from the list of supplied apps. Is it not there anymore? There was another free synth which I will check out later when I get back to my SensePlayer. My own experience with eSpeak is that installing it appeared necessary to unlock the capability of Dolphin easy Reader to then be able to download and use the supplied Nuance voices with that app. For some odd reason, for me at least, you could not download the Nuance voices until eSpeak was available. So actually, I installed eSpeak not to use it but to unlock the capability to download Easy Reader in-app voices. ? I forgot to mention that I did get access to a Kindle Book via installing Amazon Alexa on the SensePlayer and just getting Alexa to read my Kindle book. In practice though I still use my iPhone for Kindle, as it is much easier to change books etc. Amazon Alexa is one of those apps which keeps on complaining about needing access to the Google Play Store. You can still bust through the error messages to get some functionality, but it is a bit of a palaver. I think Hims needs to bite the bullet and negotiate some kind of access to the Google Play Store – I suspect that this will cost them some money to register the SensePlayer with Google, so they are likely to run scared of this. Perhaps some discussion with Google Access teams if they have not already done this? ? David Griffith ? From: [email protected] <[email protected]> On Behalf Of claire amoroso

BBC Sounds app on Sense Player needs updating
开云体育I don't use this myself but tried it out today via the list of Apps on the Sense Player and it displayed a message saying this version is no longer supported and needs an update?
Guess it's the downside of this kind of functionality?
