I could be misremembering, but I seem to recall that the serial protocol may be different from the IP protocol. Double check that before spending too much time with the IP module.

Denon ditched the 232 port? The X6700, X4700, X3700, X2700, X2600 all have serial ports on them.

There is an IP module in the Files for this group I think. You can just pull apart the module and see the serial commands you need to send.
