If I don¡¯t care about feedback, I use an SIO ¨C which is 60% of the time. If I care about feedback, which usually is only volume feedback, we have an internal module that does some inputs and volume.

I didn't click on every one, you are right, it looks like most of the X models have rs232.? Are you using one of the Crestron drivers for control or something custom?
