Re: UPS integration
Another big +1 for BlueBolt. Recent anecdote: I was just now working on a CP3 remotely and--like a moron--typed "IPCONFIG /RELEASE" instead of "IPCONFIG /RENEW" in console. As you'd figure, yep, the

Re: Sharp residential display
Yes, this is starting to come up a lot. We have to send power on twice for the polling to show it on. We are also seeing the Sharps stop responding and even sending back ERR when selecting an input

Re: OT: RG59 as speaker wire??
Another alternative - switch everything over to soundbars or local receiver/amps, and distribute SPDIF with an IVDS (or other composite-video switcher).

Re: OT: RG59 as speaker wire??
Yeah, but when it comes to speaker-level signals, capacitance is also capacitance. :) - Chip

Re: OT: RG59 as speaker wire??
Use an analog to digital adapter to convert the two channel analog to SPDIF digital signal on coax. Get a soundbar that's takes coaxial digital in and control it with IR. Set the output of your Pad8a

RTSP with tpmc-4smd
Does anyone know if RTSP is compatible with 4SMD panels? We are trying to integrate some cameras with Crestron but so far its proving difficult.

Re: OT: RG59 as speaker wire??
I've used these connectors in the past for connecting video to a touch panel...they really work great, very clean installation and no, Kol didn't pay me to say that....yet :)))

Re: OT: RG59 as speaker wire??
I'm concerned about the "wants better sound" part of this. You could get a little behind-the-TV amplifier (Sonance ASAP3) and just generate the sound through the TV/DM. (Doesn't necessarily help on

I would throw a 70v transformer on there to get better performance and also help protect the amplifier. ________________________________ To: Crestron@... Sent: Thursday, June 6, 2013 8:31

+1 to the bluebolt. They have their own web service so no port forwarding is needed either.

Re: EISC or touchpanel over WAN
