Re: Opinions on Media Player Core3/SmartGraphics object?
If I recall correctly, the Audionet requires a firmware update to allow Core3 media object control. However, that new firmware does not work with older panel types. If you have a mixed environment (like 750s and an iPad) you will need to use the older firmware and not use the Media Player object on the 750 panels. I'd even try toggling that setting, rebooting, then putting it back.

Re: Opinions on Media Player Core3/SmartGraphics object?
Is this not the same story for any module that a manufacturer tries to make to cover a large range of products. I understand why Crestron has to make something like this but it just never really matches up with the devices perfectly and now that they have clamped down the the development environment we can't customize it.

Some of the features were nice, but I REALLY disliked not being able to change (easily) simple things like object & font sizes, placement, and even button labels.
It was also VERY SLOW to startup. I don't know if that was because we were using multiple sources, or if that's just how it is, but it was noticeable and annoying. Overall I wasn't impressed, and will continue to use "the old way" for those sources unless someone specifically requests the Media Player, or it gets a lot better.

Re: Certification Test - Messaging from Touchpanel
OK, I am just a dumbass and had it submitted a month before the 3 month mark. I wish I would have known because I would not have worked so hard to get it done, I didn't want to take the class again. That time sucked too because I would work all day and did the cert at night. I went through a lot of beer during that time.
Now I get to live the amx class experience. Changed companies to a crestron company and then they decide to start doing amx out of this location, so I still end up having to go to amx school. I should have known. It will be best in the long run, but I don't look forward to getting there.

Re: table VESA stand for V24 panel
It's a weird VESA pattern. You can use 100x100 but 100x200 is ideal. I used a Simple Human LCD arm with good success but its so heavy you don't get much advantage from the gas shock. On 2013-05-14, at 7:41 AM, "Erik" <erik_nordgaard@...> wrote: Hi!
I am delivering a V24 panel to one of our customers. This panel came without a VESA stand, Crestron doesn't have any stand for this product.
This product should be delivered with a stand, or at least there should be listed a recommended stand.
Do anyone out there know about a sturdy VESA stand for this heavy V24 panel? I tried to mount it on a normal LCD screen stand but this wasnt sturdy enough.
Thanks for any answers

Been programming for 12 years. Starting out in resi and stayed there for most of that time. This was all done only having Essentials experience. From there and attending Intermediate class, everything was easier because most systems was 1-6 rooms. After the market crash I moved over to Commerical because companies have annual budgets to spend and I got in with a few A/V commerical companies always needing programming. I finally took my Cert class very recently but my current workload (which is a good thing)has kept me from finishing my exam. I will finish it at some point, just not sure if they make me attend another class before that happens? Has anyone gone past the 3 months date? I have been an admin of a few large RVSE systems. From 150 to 250 rooms, I have yet to really use all the features such as room messaging or scheduling as the client always had other SW for making the rooms available so I never needed to worry about it. The clients mostly look for managing and keep track of scheduling the events to shutdown rooms for better bulb life, knowing the lamp hours for PM care and helping assist a user by using the x-panel feature. The rooms need occupency sensors and IP cameras to help aid in knowing if a room is really in use or not or just left on IMO.
Question I have, is there going to be a qwerty keyboard released yet for Core 3UI anytime soon?

Re: AV2 rebooting continously after program upload
I had an issue where a comment with "" in the parameter field caused reboots.
I didn't want it to put anything into console. I was only using as a placeholder in the logic tree, and as a reminder as I built up the project and added rooms, and devices, I needed to initialize their crosspoint IDs. Otherwise it was upload, test, $(*@#&(*&, add the ID, upload.
Taking out the null comment fixed it.
