In normal operation, i?ve got a couple of 8G, CAT, HDMI (4K) input cards loaded. On the output-side atm only one 4K-CO-HD-card in addition to the 4KZ-CO-HD.

The first two methods the Crestron gave me? to downgrade firmware did not work.? The third call and procedure did down grade the firmware but landed up bricking two of the room boxes.? That took another few phone calls to Crestron before they figured out how to unbrick them.? All total, I probably wasted 40 hours on the phone with Crestron before the issue was resolved fully.?

So if it was me, if you know that changing the order of the cards fixes the issue, I would do that.? Otherwise, you could land up spending a whole lot more time trying to getting it to work in your current configuration.

What does the chassis report for slot numbers and contents running a “dumpdmipcomfig” in text console?

For me, the fix was to downgrade the DM firmware to v3.00.26 -- but that took 4 or 5 calls to Crestron before they suggested doing that.? That however was not an easy task. The first two methods the Crestron gave me? to downgrade firmware did not work.? The third call and procedure did down grade the firmware but landed up bricking two of the room boxes.? That took another few phone calls to Crestron before they figured out how to unbrick them.? All total, I probably wasted 40 hours on the phone with Crestron before the issue was resolved fully.?

So if it was me, if you know that changing the order of the cards fixes the issue, I would do that.? Otherwise, you could land up spending a whole lot more time trying to getting it to work in your current configuration.

Hi Binu,

As far as I know, there is no way to shut down a Hikvision security NVR - I think that's part of the deal with it being a security device.? I've had a quick look through the web UI to confirm, and while there's a reboot option, there is no "shutdown" so I suspect that won't be in any API either.
A quick google seems to suggest that cutting the power to the NVR is all you can do.
