As far as I know nothing from Crestron really handles ¡°portrait¡± ¨C even in DM, and I believe this still holds for NVX the ¡°video wall processing¡± assumes the
more conventional wall of landscape displays, e.g. a 3x3 of 16:9 landscape displays.
?
Depending on the requirement I can think of a few solutions, e.g. a NVX receiver feeding a standard 16:9 image to a true video processor that can output the 5400x1920
resolution. Alternatively if the displays themselves support a wall mode and that¡¯s a valid configuration for them you could just let the displays do the slicing and dicing ¨C that¡¯s what we¡¯re typically doing with NEC walls we specify (in a landscape configuration,
however.)
?
It¡¯s also entirely possible that there¡¯s special firmware or undocumented commands for NVX that would allow a non-16:9 output from the internal scaler (note the
D30 doesn¡¯t have a scaler so no support there at all); I am aware of some competitive products that allow you to specify the crop and output in terms of pixels ¨C but I¡¯m not sure if any of those also support rotation)

Subject: [crestron] NVX Video Wall
?
Hi All,
We have a video wall that we need to update.
The video wall has five Samsung displays mounted in portrait orientation.?
The effective resolution of the wall is 5400 wide by 1920 high.
Has anyone had any luck using NVX with portrait displays?
?According to Crestron's NVX-351 product page -
"Video Wall Processing
A video wall composed of up to 64 individual displays can be configured using multiple DM?NVX?35x(C) Series endpoints. Each endpoint provides fully adjustable zoom capability and bezel compensation to accommodate a range of video wall configurations and display
types. One DM-NVX-35x(C) endpoint is required per display, supporting configurations of up to eight wide by eight high."
I think it might be possible, except there program modules appear to only support landscape resolutions for displays.
If anyone has tried something like this or found a work around, let me know.
Thanks,
Paul

Thing that will cause the Zoom app to open:
1. Microphone Test in the middle of the night 2. Upcoming meeting check in 3. Zoom feels lonely (not tested)
|
Valid point Lincoln, but the way it's programmed the home button is disabled until the system is on and you select video conferencing on the panel. AutoUpdate is also disabled on the panel. I haven't seen this myself but the client insists it's happening.

Defiantly easier to do the subscriptions then the Xiomara routing. Just don't change the subscriptions.

I believe when Zoom is enabled touching the Home key toggles between Zoom and non-Zoom mode¡ perhaps the cleaners are hitting home when they wipe the panel down?

Feedback when lutron scheduler is activated. I it reflected when scheduler is activated in the crestron interface?
#crestron
Hello. I have a related question about Lutron scheduler and crestron, I saw when I generate a scheduler in lutron RadioRa2, in integration section it appears the scheduler with an ID like keypads to integrate with crestron.
So I would like to know when lutron scheduler. Is it reflected in the crestron interface? I was traying to saw a scheduler module form lutron but it does not exits in the module package that I downloaded in the lutron web page

+1 for Solstice.? It's worth noting that you can buy the licence maintenance for several years up front. We do this so that you can pay for it once on a project budget and not have to worry about the recurring fee.?

Yes, no problem with all the other cards. In normal operation, i?ve got a couple of 8G, CAT, HDMI (4K) input cards loaded. On the output-side atm only one 4K-CO-HD-card in addition to the 4KZ-CO-HD.
Am 10.12.2019 19:37:05 schrieb Anewdaytotri <anewdaytotri@...>: Do the other cards function with the 4kz card in place? How about without it in place?
Tried a lot of combinations before - together with other cards, just the 4KZ-card, different slots. But not in conjunction with dumpdmipconfig. Can give it another try.
I also tried an rcon to the slot where the card is located. No luck.?
Am 10.12.2019 16:31:25 schrieb Anewdaytotri <anewdaytotri@...>: Hmm.... Have you tried changing slots and trying the dumpdmipcomfig again?
Atm, the 4KZ-card is the only card in the chassis. A "dumpdmipconfig" shows the following:
TableStart: DM IP Config
Slot#? ? ? ?|Device_Name? ? ? ? ? ? ?|FW_Version? ? ? |Ext_IP_Address |TCP_Port|Int_IP_Address |LINK |MAG --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ?Internal Link Status = UP
?External Link Status = UP
So actually nothing...
Firmware on the chassis is currently 4.102.352400073. But the issue appeared also on older fw-versions (i?ve got the card sitting here for a few months now but never had the time to work on the issue).

Mine is a 2 series chassis as well. Thanks for all the feedback I hope to get back to this sometime this week.? It¡¯s my home unit so as long as I can keep it operational the family is happy which means troubleshooting when they are otherwise occupied.?
Gave it another try right now and it gives me this in the errorlog:
1. Error: ERROR: No CardReady Signal OPCard Slot23 TimeStamp: 00:00:29 1-01-02 UpTime: 0 days 00:00:28.840 Task: IdleTask
2. Error: Output slot 23 present but card ready timeout TimeStamp: 00:00:29 1-01-02 UpTime: 0 days 00:00:28.840 Task: IdleTask
3. Error: Output slot 24 present but card ready timeout TimeStamp: 00:00:29 1-01-02 UpTime: 0 days 00:00:28.840 Task: IdleTask
By looking through an empty slot right above the 4KZ-card, i noticed that there are just two LEDs illuminated near the card slot, but nothing else. On the other cards, there are a lot more LEDs illuminated during operation.
So i guess this leads more to a hardware failure of the card itself...

Hm, interesting.
I?ve got a similar issue with a 4KZ output card that i installed in my private 8x8 switch.
Problem is i don?t get it to work at all. Even with no other card loaded. There are some messages in the errorlog, so the matrix detects sth but can?t initialize the card.
I?ve got a 4KZ input card that works without a problem.
