Re: Tool Post Grinder
Forgot to mention that it's a 1/3hp 115VAC/DC universal motor, so it should be speed controllable, too. Supposed to have a 3-wire grounded plug, but not anymore. Will have to fix that. Looks like

Got it a bit ago, did some measurements with my HF 12" digital caliper, numbers aren't exactly right, but based on sizes and fairly close dimensions, it's a J-3, spindle says 35000rpm, designed for

Re: Tool Post Grinder
I don't know what version it is now, but I'm hoping, based on apparent sizes of the spindle nuts and such that it's one of their smaller, J-2 or J-3 machines. Those are sized for 9-12" lathes. It

Re: Graham Mfg Co Double Knurling tool
This knurling tool was used in screw machines and turret lathes. This could
be used on your lathe if desired. A collet chuck arbor in the tailstock
would work. A boring holder in a quick change tool

Re: Tool Post Grinder
It's kinda hard to get any scale from the pics , but that motor looks to
be 1/2 the size of the motor on my Atlas TPG? . If that's so that's a
real nice feature .
