Got it a bit ago, did some measurements with my HF 12" digital caliper, numbers aren't exactly right, but based on sizes and fairly close dimensions, it's a J-3, spindle says 35000rpm, designed for 9-13" lathes. So I scored pretty good.?
Fred, I could use the metal box, a set of pulleys, #190 & #721, and they are supposed to come with 1" & 2" wheel collar. Could use those also. I am sure I could make my own, but that thing can spin pretty darned quick, so I'd prefer factory accessories if I can get them. Also the the user manual.?
Not seeing any of these things for sale new, but the closest thing they've got, MSC Direct wants a bit over $5k for a new J-35. Suspect I'll be using vacuum cleaner belts, since they want over $70 for the correct belt, too.? wmrmeyers (at) sbcglobal (dot) net if you want to email me about what you have and what you need to get for it.?
