ok it helps if i actually look at this stuff.? there is a plate on the motor that says tuscon made in Britain. ? How the hell your supposed to mount this thing onto the motor mount i dunno.?

I've run into plates like that on several motors. It's probably a bodged up effort to make a newer (or older) motor fit a mounting bracket from a different generation of equipment.? My Atlas TH42

I’m not home but I forgot to mention that for the trim router I used the milling vice. So the wooden mount is just a split clamp that mounts in the vice. ?I used it to grind the jaws on the
