Re: Has anyone ever seen a cab forward General?
Yes, definently an inspection loco. I agree that the inspection cab location was problematic. Most inspection engines from that time period had a coach-type body mounted over the boiler - sort of

I think the Ramsey Journal and the GruesomeCasket were different parts, but not sure. Have to check on that one..... They were first made by AHM.BobD.

Re: Superior Bakery (was Revell etc.)
Walter ! The Engine house has had a wild little life of it's own as well . Revell , Kibri , Heljan , AHM / IHC , you name it ! The Carstens Bldg . in Ramsey NJ. was unique to itself . Henry

Re: Superior Bakery (was Revell etc.)
Seems to me that Revell had 3 variations, the engine house, the Superior
Bakery, and the print shop. That wasn't the Carsten's Publications shop,

Re: eBay Bowser 4-8-2
Is there a speaker? If not, the board is probably a DCC decoder board only
(no sound). I am sure that someone around would be happy to buy it from
you. Is there any ID on the board? It seems a waste

Re: eBay Bowser 4-8-2 [3 Attachments]
Gee Jim,
If you de-sound, de-Helix Humper and re-Pittman it I should think you could
keep it. It may be a later run but that engine has history that goes way
back.

Re: Life-Like F7
I found this video of someone doing modifications to a LL GP38, but you can see through his editorial text that it has a Mabuchi can motor with a shaft running to a gear tower. Maybe the NWSL gearing
