First the photos section is mighty much huge as compared to the files section. Several groups I belong to have had to ask members to transfer their photos from the files section to the photos area as the files were nearing capacity. Those that didn’t move them often had them just plain dumped. Files are more for articles and such and, yes, there may be photos as part of that. But for just plain photos please use the photos section.

Also, whether or not a particular group allows attachments is up to the groups owner/moderator(s). Yahoo does make the attachments option available but takes no part in its usage.

You were not being a pest. I believe I started off incorrectly trying to attach. And, as you mentioned, I have found that some Yahoo groups will not allow attachments. I prefer using attachments though, when showing pictures of, what I consider a subject having only transient value. Regards. Denis
