Yep, I trimmed the plug also. Had it pop out during an event and got a call from one of my friends telling me that I was transmitting. Now I use rubber bands to hold it in.I know the receive on this

?Hi- I did just that !! There is a replacement De-ion batt that fits,from the Comm ver. Can't tell you the number ,right off,and the drop-i charger. The charger,Will work with all types of batteries.
