?Hi- I did just that !! There is a replacement De-ion batt that
fits,from the Comm ver. Can't tell you the number ,right off,and
the drop-i charger. The charger,Will work with all types of
batteries. Never though that Methydride would take only a surface
charge,but ,Do !!-New batt. All is well !! de W8KQ
