I tried using the Yaesu web form on their website and they don't seem understand that setting up a web form means you should monitor it frequently. This evening I gave it another try and also emailed them using the email link on their website as well as called them. I had to leave a message because they were too busy to answer. This radio does not have general coverage receive. I recently purchased this radio on QRZ and It has an issue. When I press the tune button, it shuts down and then restarts. I tried this into a Bird dummy load. I was going to use this at Field day and it was a no go. Receives fine. I do not have a CW sidetone either and that’s with the monitor active. Any help or advice would be appreciated. A friend is wanting to try the digital modes on his FT-2000D. any recommendations of which interfaces work best with Yaesu FT-2000D. He has the optional DMU-2000 with it. Also which software covers all the digital modes. All help apreciated!! N5XES
