Re: VOLTAGE CHANGE IN THE DCC
Mario
Good morning.
Thanks for the clarification between DCC and Command Stations. I have a 15v, 3 amp powersupplies that I think is correct for the N. Ok, well I am writing to you from the Yamorc page to see how I have to pay you and I just want to thank you for the help you have provided for what you have done for us. Greetings, Mario |

I have seen that the voltage can be changed from the YaMoRC application. You have seen that wrong ! The YD7xxx series do not have adjustable power options. You need to connect a proper power supply with the desired output voltage. ? Oh, and please use correct terminology. The YD7xxx are Command Stations, not DCC. DCC is the protocol they speak. ? Greets, Karst? ? P.S. By the way your boards are ready ( can be picked up from 14th of may ) , do you need power supplies for them ??? ? |
VOLTAGE CHANGE IN THE DCC
Mario
Good morning from Spain.
I apologize for my English, I am using Google Translate. I am waiting for the updated YD7001-E board to arrive and I have seen that the voltage can be changed from the Yamorc application. My idea is that since I have N material, some h0 and Marklin Z, I can use the DCC without having to change the DC current input. Is what I say correct? Thank you very much and wish you a good weekend. Regards, Mario |

YD7001 LAN Control
HI,
I have recently upgraded my DR5000 to a YD7001.? Its working great, I was getting intermittent disconnects with iTrain but these have now gone.? My iTrain/YD7001 interface uses a LAN connection, no problems., however I cannot? I cannot establish a connection over my network from the YD7001 Configurator App to the YD7001. I get an error message saying that it cannot establish a connection, when I look in the log there is a entry saying that it could not establish a connection within 1 second. I change the control back to USB and all is well. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance. Alan |
Re: Digikeijs to Yamorc conversion......
Pete, Do you already have any DR4024s? YaMoRC is not a closed ecosystem, it supports NMRA DCC and Digitrax's?proprietary?(but licensed to several companies) LocoNet, so there's a lot of different equipment that's compatible with it one way or another. A QuadLN_S is a good option for servos, if you want DCC, TAM Valley has some options. Probably best to steer away from the Digitrax DS78V, but that is technically a compatible option. ESU has a SwitchPilot Servo that's meant to go with their ECoS system, but it is NMRA DCC compliant. Digikeijs to Yamorc conversion......
Hi Guys,
I'm running my home layout on Itrain with Digikeijs equipment, apart from the DR5000 which has a YD9401 upgrade. I have been asked to plan a new layout for our club. We would like to use one manufacturers equipment throughout. I have managed to find the Yamorc equivalents for DR4088 = YD6016, DR4018 = YD8116, DR5000 = YD7010. But, I cannot find the equivalent for the DR4024 servo controller. I could use a YD8116 with relays or opto couplers on the output to feed an Arduino that drives the servos and the frog switching. But that seems to be the long way round when there used to be a really nice solution with the DR4024. So, my main question is this, is there another module that will drive servos or do I go to my Arduino? My follow up question is that while some Yamorc dealers are out there, there does not seem to be much in stock. And looking on the Yamorc web site many items are price TBD, delayed, na, cancelled, etc. So if we (the club) decide to go ahead and fit Yamorc equipment, where do I get it from? And bearing in mind I am in New Zealand, the answer could be anywhere in the world. Regards Pete S. |

Don’t forget to add the diode. As in the schematic. As I was told it’s possible to damage the decoder without it.The YD8xxx have these diodes inside. :) And... on the DR4102 the were never needed as well. Since the DR4018 also had those diodes inside.... |
Re: DR4102 Relay Alternatives
Hi,
Up to now, I have been using the RL1 Twin Channel Relay Controller for DC/DCC made by Train Tech, the SPDT relays can be individually addressed.? Using these avoids issues that may be encountered from connecting general purpose relays to switch decoders such as overvoltage. Unfortunately, they seem to be out of stock at all vendors.? I believe that there are similar products available but I have no experience in using them, I may have more to say on the other products if the RL1 continues to be out of stock. Re: DR4102 Relay Alternatives
Check your outputs from DR4018/YD8116 as they may be more than 12v depending on your power supply. If it is a lit higher get the 24v versions Many Thanks Iain Morrison On Mon, 6 May 2024 at 13:36, Dave via <dave=[email protected]> wrote:

Re: TT-DEC feedback with YD6016LN
Thanks Karst, The only difference between my set up and the diagram is that I do not have the extra Bridge occupancy detectors (Shown with an X on the diagram). The detector from the DSU works as my occupancy detector (green circle). |

Always used relays like this Many Thanks Iain Morrison On Mon, 6 May 2024 at 08:32, Dave via <dave=[email protected]> wrote:
