Re: De sensitise DR4088LN-CS inputs.
I repeat, the wires in Ryan¡¯s picture are NOT connected from the 1-8 terminals to the C terminals - one end of the resistor goes into the 1-8 and the other into the C terminal. Just do what is

Re: De sensitise DR4088LN-CS inputs.
Iain: I appreciate all the advice, thanks for helping me. Still confusing to me, all of the wires from 1-8 or 9-16 are soldered to the 'C' in Ryan's photographs, all are shown to be tied (soldered)

Re: De sensitise DR4088LN-CS inputs.
The layout wires from 1-8 and 9-16 are NOT connected to the C terminals. These wires go to the layout track and the motor draws current. Some of that current flows through the DR4088xx and the rest

Re: De sensitise DR4088LN-CS inputs.
Iain: Thanks again.? Using Ryan's photo as guide (see link below), I trust then that each wire on a resistor coming from 1-8 and 9-16 point to where the connection from the layout would be, in other

Re: De sensitise DR4088LN-CS inputs.
The track feeds for the layout come from the terminals marked 1 - 8 and 9 - 16, in exactly the same way as they do now. Many Thanks Iain Morrison

Re: De sensitise DR4088LN-CS inputs.
Iain:? To help my understanding further please.? The 1-8 or 9-16 'outputs' are not bothered by the fact they share the same wire and still can determine which block is occupied.? How does one

Re: DR5000 Upgrade to YD7001 at York Railway Modellers in Toronto
Hi We did have a long running operations night for which I can report results.? Similar to Brian we were able to run 10 throttles through the router/LAN set up to the YD7001 - our mix of throttles

YD7001 and Windows 11
The YD7001 Configuration software no longer talks to my YD7001 via USB. Running Windows 11. * It did install and and it did run properly. The update worked fine. That was a week ago, * A couple of

Thank you Karst. Can I be cheeky and ask when the 7100, 7403 and 9101 modules are going to be available in the UK?

Re: Will adding an LED to a track (to indicate it is on) trigger the detection of the 4088CS?
With regard to cutting track power to sections of track you could use a latching/bi-stable relay controlled by a switch controller (DR4018 or spare switch in DR4024). You could even use a DR4102 as

Re: De sensitise DR4088LN-CS inputs.
You are not ¡®tying¡¯ the 1-8 outputs (or 9-16) together, they remain completely separate as they are today. You are placing a shunt resistors between the feedback e.g. feedback 1 and the C terminal

Re: Will adding an LED to a track (to indicate it is on) trigger the detection of the 4088CS?
Bummer on the LED, I was hoping to add that indicator of track power on the bumpers. As for the relays, yes, I want to be able to kill track power on areas with locomotive storage. Do you have a

Re: DR5000 Program Track Loco long address
Seems to me like a setup problem. Can you get other communication to work ? There is no logical difference between the two... What you mean with DR5000 ? It's Windows App ? Me neither

Re: Function key 2 (F2) is latching / non-momentary on the YD7001 ?
Well yes, this anybody does ? No you can't. As the latching/momentary setting of a function is/should be controlled by the Handheld, the command station does not intervene with it. And does just

Re: Roco Throttles failing to connect to Yamorc 7001
Hi, Maybe you would want to read Jay Lennox' posts on WiFi/LAN and routers. but: There is no such limit built in. However the YD9401 could run out of resources. Our advise is to use an external

Re: YaMoRC YD8116 and Digikeijs DR5000
Yes, but you cannot use the YD8116 DCCext feature ( sending aspects with a single DCC address ) The DR5000's firmware does not support that.

Re: Will adding an LED to a track (to indicate it is on) trigger the detection of the 4088CS?
Oh yes it will, bad idea... But what the heck is a MQTT relay and what for it's used ? Shutting down power on track segments is very "analog" ?

Re: DR5000, DR5033 and DR4088 on LocoNet
