Nynuts?
So im installing a new prop on my jabiru 2200 on my X Air Hahneman. However I lost the old nuts for the bolts. I was wondering what type of nuts I need to get for replacements is there a special grade or type?

EFI...Anyone?
Since there hasn't been much going on here, I thought I might start up a conversation. Does anyone have and experience with EFI on 2 strokes? If so, which engine? Results? Like or dislike?

X-Air Ultralight Aircraft Re: Sail replacement 4
Just curious what a 2 color replacement set for an X-Air Standard would cost? Not including shipping. Is there any certfication necessary, to go with new sails for CAA or FAA? Jackye

the only way to test the Dacron properly is with a betts tester.... here is a link to a fairly informative document published by airborne who make the trikes. http://www.airborne.com.au/images/aw_directives/SB-007%20Issue1.pdf sandblasting1972@... X-Air Ultralight Aircraft XAir standard licensing 2

XAir standard licensing
What is the category that the XAir standard is licensed under? Where is the best place to start gathering information on the licensing process. The previous owner had applied for The N number that is still active but never went through the completed registration process. I do have a copy of the bill of sale from the manufacturer and the previous owner. I have completely taken the aircraft apart and I am reassembling with new tires, control cables, fuel lines, sails, certified rebuilt 618 Rotax and a host of other things. So basically it is a rebuilt aircraft. Any information or suggestions would be much appreciated. Thanks

left hand throttle
Does anyone have a left hand throttle for the xair s. The xair I just purchased the previous owner had cut it off because he thought it was in the way on the door. Also interested in two of the wooden flight control handles.

Haunaman 2
So I'm looking for some advice has anybody ever covered the fuselage of their haunaman with anything other than sailcloth. I purchase sailcloth replacment but it does not fit. it doesn't even match the old sail cloth that was taken off and now I can't get any response from the guy that sold it to me so I'm looking for some kind of alternative

X-Air Ultralight Aircraft Ottoman Fuse sails 3
? sometimes you need to just hold things in place with plastic clamps or maybe temp cable tie in place to stop moving. also first job is to velcro it around the vertical finn tube I have posted below the instructions from my build manual it might help Seamus Drape the cover over the fuselage, join it up at the back first with the Velcro after passing the rudder cables and elevator fork/trim cables through the holes. Fit the support battens 330307A,B, C & D into place, 330307B doesn’t fit into a pocket it locates on the side brackets see B16D. 330307C locates into a little pocket and then hooks into an attachment at the fin LE see B16C. Start to loosely lace the sides and top of the cover in a zig zag formation, but do not tighten, you may also use cable ties for this if preferred. Attach tube 324 (shown in B16). Lace up the bottom of the cover starting at the back, working your way forward, time will need to spent on this to get it nice and tight. Continue lacing up the sides and top until the fabric is tight. You will find that after a few days further tightening can be achieved.

Ottoman Fuse sails
Still struggling on the fuse sails.. When we get one end or side lined up the other is off. Then I can't seem to pull the bottom together . Never been so frustrated . I have pics but I'm not sure how to put them on here. Is there aomething were missing her or were the sails just poorly made?

Sails
I recently purchased new sails for my X-Air standard from Gary at ultralightsails.com. They were delivered on time and are as good or better than OEM. The X-Air sail replacement manual makes replacement sound easier than it really is. Be prepared to use ratchet straps and talc and your imagination to get the job done.
