Interesting. I haven't had any issues and I've never actually toggled that switch. It just seems to activate when I plug in. Silly question, do those earbuds work in other devices?

Yes, everything works great with the xggcoms cable. The only thing that I had issues with was stray rf on the cable causing tx issues, a couple snap on ferrites fixed the problem.

done! for the community: the main trick is remove two lateral protection (those with the tilt brackets) (2x - 4x - 2x3mm screws (tool T6)) this will unveil other screws btw I had success in finding

Jorge, I don't know if there was a design change from the one I have but the negative side of the power plug could touch the side of the case before the plug was fully seated.? This was just my guess
