I appreciate the reply.? Bummer its not as easy as it should be.? My goal was to use a small baofang earpiece mic and modify it to just use the mic.? My main goal is SOTA so trying to cut down on all the extra stuff.? Not a huge deal to use the supplied mic, but as they say....everything weighs something, ha.
