UI-View Maps
Talking about maps for ui-view brings up a question I have.
I normally run Precision Mapping9 but thought I'd try the map server by PA7RHM. When I do my position is way off, zoomed in it's on the west

The so-called "Compatibility Mode" was actually a virtual machine (MS Virtual
PC 2007) running a full-blown copy of Windows XP inside of Win 7.

Great idea! Yes you can run older programs like Uiview32 in compatibility mode, I run mine in Windows XP Service pack 3 mode!
However, on all my PC's running Windows 10, when I do a restart of my PC,

I switched all 4 computers to WIN 10 and everything is running okay including UI-View.
I would suggest you upgrade WIN 7 or WIN 8 to Windows 10 because you have 30 days
that you can go back if for

It's not just the early adopters' headaches. One also needs to consider that
Win 10 will be a moving target changing ENDLESSLY with FORCED updates!

If you are running Win7 now, I'd go with it. No real reason to change to
Win8 or 10 (at least until more is know about Win10 and its many bugs)
