The so-called "Compatibility Mode" was actually a virtual machine (MS Virtual
PC 2007) running a full-blown copy of Windows XP inside of Win 7.
This virtual machine is NO LONGER being supplied with Win 10. However, you
could install a third-party virtual machine (Virtual Box or VMware player) and
then install WinXP into it from a standard XP install CD or CD-image file (.ISO
file).
I have three copies of UIview running on my dedicated Ham Server setup. One is
running directly on the Win7-64 host. The other two are running in two VMware
virtual machines, each of which has a full-blown WinXP SP3 install in it. The
one on the host is my 30-meters HF APRS igate and UIwebserver. The other two
are the usual 144.39 2M VHF igate and a dedicated satgate on 145.825 for the ISS.

Versions of the freeware VMware player and Virtual Box tested and blessed for
use with Win 10 are already available.
