from which address to where?
I did not understand this passage

Thank for collaboration

Re: c-clip pliers

The internal/external snap ring pliers I use for automotive & all purpose situations are Crescent brand, and they've not failed me to date. They came with an assortment of hardened steel tips of various sizes, including 90 degree ones. They've served me much, much better than ones with fixed tips, of which I've broken several. You can adjust the reach of the tips by loosening the set screw and sliding the tips out. Those things have saved me in numerous situations where I needed to reach into a bearing assembly to remove the snap ring. IIRC, they were about 30 USD at Lowe's, but well worth the money. I imagine the McMaster-Carr, Irwin, and Craftsman ones are very similar.
They're also my go-to tool for removing/installing 10 turn dials.

Let me know if my posts are coming thru twice to anyone's email client. I always use the Groups.io interface to post.

Re: BSM connectors

Gary,

The ones I have seen were made by Amphenol, and this is borne out in some of the equipment parts lists referenced here:

Surplus Sales of Nebraska has them:

Fair Radio Sales in Ohio used to carry them but I don¡¯t see them listed on the website.

I have occasionally seen the BSM/MB to BNC Adapter cable on eBay. Perhaps other group members have sources?

Re: c-clip pliers

I got mine set to daily summary. No problems. I also don't see duplicate posts. I post right at this website with no email software, strictly web based, as is my email anyway.

Just thought I'd mention it in case anyone wonders who has this problem or not.

Re: c-clip pliers

That also fails to explain why I got three copies of a single message that I posted.

people are having this issue.

Re: 500-series fan motor disassembly.

Thank you, Shaun.

OK, press-fit retainers; it seems I was missing the correct English terms.

I'm missing the recommended mechanical tools and technique to properly
dis-assembly it.
Mounting can probably be performed well with a soft plastic hammer.

Perhaps clean up assembly, check the shaft/bushing fit and go from there.
If I understand correctly, you are suggesting to avoid dis-assemble it.
From a preliminary inspection, I don't think it's an option in my case.
Search the archive for Stan Griffiths' posts, mentioning good reasons to
completely disassemble it.

Sebastian.

Sebastian,

Yes, I see the issue now. Your motor has cast endbells and press fit

granting you can disassemble them without apparent damage, they often do
not reassemble properly.

That is pretty clever. Perhaps scanning on a bed scanner is unlikely to produce
usable results. What about these on eBay?

The software talks about TWAIN driver. That should be available on Linux as

What about my idea of making a video of the drawers while flipping the tabs

Re: [Admin] groups.io settings.

Some list owners just don't want anything but new messages. I don't think that's the case here but some will nag you if you don't trim pretty thoroughly and some don't understand that the archive won't get messages that are responded to only to the original poster.
