开云体育? Free and lets you crop and resize a photo to a more reasonable size like 480x640 etc.? It can also compress to 80% so a 8MB photo can be turned into a 100K photo that for all intensive purposes looks the same unless you want to zoom way in. ? John ? Sgt. Meyers, did you have anything to do with 99125 in the Air Force? I was at Lowry and Fiji and your name seems familiar to me.

Re: 10K head stock cover
Go to the group.io website, and look at your groups. If you have membership in more than one, pick southbendlathe, and on a Windows computer and most of the browsers out there, on the left side of the page you'll find "Photos" down towards the bottom of the page. Click on it. Near the top of the Photos page, you'll see a button that says "New Album" and click on that. Create an album, and follow the prompts. Then upload a photo to that album, and copy the link to send it to the guy who needs the photo, in a message on the group, or in a personal email. Everyone on the group who gets all email will get a notification, IIRC, that the album has been created, and a photo posted. You can delete the photo, and/or album once you're done, if you want.? Re: South Bend 10 K Headstock Cover
开云体育I had a good look at my 10k today, mounted on it’s own bench w/drawers and pulleys. ?When lowered, my cover pushes down on a shaft to allow the belt tensioner arm to lock. Not sure if the 10k was sold without a bench. ?I’m thinking a home shop machinist could build a cover fairly easily.?On Jul 1, 2024, at 14:11, mike allen via groups.io <animal@...> wrote:

South bend never sold one. You either make it or ebay it.
Or buy a motorcycle cover that is roughly of that size.?
Make sure it is not plastic, but cotton. Plastic will trap humidity inside and will turn your lathe into a rust popsicle.

Any ideas where to locate a headstock cover for an 80s vintage 10K other than eBay would be great. That seems to be the only missing part on this new purchase of mine.
thanks in advance? Dave |

开云体育Sorry Paul. I have a master power switch to the lath and it’s light. The sheet is moved before power is turned on. Plus it is a flat belt that slips if to heavy of a load is applied. Plenty safe enough for me.?Al Knack On Jun 30, 2024, at 12:21?PM, Guenther Paul <paulguenter@...> wrote:
