Hi all, Given how vast creative and wonderful folks are here, one never knows. Aside from grieving the death of my Uncle stateside, cancer, yesterday, I am also seeking a new place to live for safety reasons. Many quality options do not advertise outside of word of mouth. Which leads to my question. anyone here have a connection, relative social media or whatever to someone in Toronto that might have a housing option? I'm trying to remember a fic where Binns got exorcised or was sidelined and the History of Magic professor was a female ghost who was NOT enamored to Dumbledore and was appointed by someone else. The new prof was teaching history that was not sanitized and "approved" version.

At least those who are not members of Rick's google group. Rick just lost his mother to brain cancer. It is especially emotionally challenging for him because he was providing allot of her care for the past few months. If you enjoy his writing, consider taking a moment to send him some support. There is a place for on line condolences, but I am not good at sharing that sort of thing. Not to mention a touch uncomfortable having that in a list archive. Shortly after the Battle of Hogwarts. Either as part of the surveying of the castle to see what they have to fix and what they have to use to replacement items damaged or destroyed. Or while having the house-elves/students/volunteers pulling out unused items (clothing, beds, etc...) to be used by the influx of refugees from Hogsmeade and the victims of the Muggle-Born Registration Commission. McGonagall, the other teachers and/or what's left of the Hogwarts Board and/or the Ministry find out about the Room of Requirement. They use most of the newer practical items like clothing, furniture, school supplies for the refugees/victims/students. Sold some of the more common antiques and loaned/rented out some of the more unusual/older antiques to places like museums/universities. During this they find items diaries, other books, founder’s portraits that prove that the Founders was nothing like the modern wizarding world think they were. That Slytherin was a muggleborn or was the main pro-muggleborn founder. That Gryffindor was a pacifist, or a bigot, or a coward. That Ravenclaw was an idiot or a stereotypical damsel in distress. That Hufflepuff was the warrior or the paranoid one or the pureblood supremacist of the group. And what the Wizarding World knows as Facts About The Founders was all created by someone 2 or 3 hundred years after they died who used things like the founder’s animals (lions, snakes, ravens, and badgers) and how their 6th or 7th generation descendants as a foundation of how they were. This rewriter of history is also the one who created or corrupted the sorting hat. That the founders had not set up the house system, students either all had their own tiny, individual rooms or all slept in barracks like large rooms divided by age and/or gender. They also find out that the founders knew that muggleborns were not muggleborns that they were non-magically raised descendants of squibs or were the illegitimate children/grandchildren from a wizard’s dalliance or rape of a non-magical or even kids born in the wizarding world who were misplaced into non-magical orphanages or left as foundlings or stashed with a non-magical person to hide them.

So I think I got this off of someone's faves but it could have been from here. It's made me laugh and be amazed enough times that I had to share the fun. Hi folks, Recently I began getting updated chapters for a couple of stories via fictionhunt..given fanfiction.net issues I personally experience. I know I said a while back there was going to be another chapter, but I couldn't seem to get the plunnies to help me finish it so just decided to post the first chapter as a 1 shot. The Maple Bookshelf will be going offline as of the 19th. Sadly, the Owner of the Site Passed. The Site was unable to be transferred onward. The Maple Bookshelf is a site that hosted mostly Harry Potter fanfiction and also hosted a group called Hunting Horcruxes both sites are members only sites. If there are any members of those sites on this list who have the time and resources between now and the 19th to save the contents of these sites. Please, do so. I'm sorry to say that I never heard about this site until it was too late to join it.

Hi guys I'm looking for a story where bracelets are created to determine blood status or strength? I remember it was based on colour and Walburga Black was in it. They had to prick a finger and drop blood on the bracelet I think, I vaguely remember Pansy didn't get the result she wanted. I tried google but can't seem to find it, any help would be great :)
